I've been using the freephoneline app on my desktop for months without a problem, but for the last couple of weeks I haven't been able to hear any sound from the other side (or the phone dialing/ringing) when I make outgoing calls.
I've tried:
- powering down modem/router/pc
- uninstalling/reinstalling the latest version of freephoneline
- forwarding ports 5060-6060 on my router
- disabling Windows Defender and firewall
- and toggling the DTMF type setting
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My setup:
Windows 8
ISP: Teksavvy
Modem: Thomson DCM476
Router: TP-Link TL-WR720N
No sound from the other side

Re: No sound from the other side
See what happens when you power down both the router and modem. might as well power down the computer also.
Re: No sound from the other side
Thanks for the reply! I forgot to include in my post that I have tried powering down the modem/router/pc and reinstalling the latest version freephoneline.

Re: No sound from the other side
I strongly suggest you to purchase SIP Unlock Key and use 3CXPhone 6 as softphone.
