Re: Fongo invoice
I’m told VoIP unlock key customers will be receiving monthly invoices going forward, in order to also receive required regulatory information.

Re: Fongo invoice
I too, got one of these today. It may seem like silly question, but since we now know the reason for the $0.00 invoice, would it still be advisable to email a query to Fongo, anyway?

Re: Fongo invoice
In my opinion, no.
All paid residential customers will be getting monthly invoices.
I would be more inclined to submit a ticket if my bill isn't $0 and/or if I needed clarification for something that was stated on the bill, instead of clogging up the ticket support queue, but the choice is yours.
In retrospect, I'll delete the recommendation to send in a ticket.

Re: Fongo invoice
A long time ago, Freephoneline used to have a field called "correspondence email", which no longer exists. Chances are it was the same email address used to purchase a VoIP unlock key originally. Invoices were being sent to the old "correspondence email" address, even if that email address isn't associated with the respective Freephoneline account anymore. That is, invoices weren't necessarily being sent to the one shown after logging in at https://www.freephoneline.ca/updateAccountDetails, unless that email address was also the same old correspondence email address.
I alerted Fongo to the issue today, and they are now syncing account login email addresses to invoices instead. The problem will be corrected, and invoices will be sent to Freephoneline account login email addresses in the future. The April invoice is $0. I'm told since nothing is billed, submitting a ticket shouldn't be necessary.
