I did, thanks. Without that I wouldn't have noticed that, the User1 settings being changed from what I remember, all Cfwd fields were populated with a number and Cfwd No Ans Delay set to 1. At the last setup I had all these fields empty and Cfwd No Ans Delay set to 20. Now that I deleted those it works fine. I wonder if this was set for voicemail or something else...seagame2001 wrote:oh no just reset your unit and re-enter the info again

Thanks, apparently it is something with the config. I deleted the Cfwd numbers from User1, but I don't know if I did the right thing. Everything works now. Are those fields supposed to be empty?FONGO_mike wrote:billcanada wrote:The PAP2T should still be compatible. When i called you yesterday to help trouble shoot, we proved your account and the service are working properly when i configured your account into one of my ATA's ans was able to call you with it. we did not determin it was an issue with your ATA, we only proved the issue was somewhere in your set-up or configuration.

Yes, normally.crg wrote: Thanks, apparently it is something with the config. I deleted the Cfwd numbers from User1, but I don't know if I did the right thing. Everything works now. Are those fields supposed to be empty?
If you had a number in the first box it will forward all calls so your phones will never ring.
The next boxes are to forward if you are busy or do not answer.
You are better off leaving all those blank and just using the forwarding system in your online admin, this way it will not get confusing.

Thanks for clarifying this for me Jake.
Weird stuff, I never made those changes! Hackers? Is it possible?

Well... What was in there before you deleted it? Where did you get the ATA from (is it possible it was in there when you got it)? Is your ATA in DMZ, or accessible from outside your network?crg wrote:Thanks for clarifying this for me Jake.

Re: Freephoneline Down
Last year I had nothing,I'm pretty sure about that, I have some screenshots saved for future reference if I have to reset the ATA at some point. Now I found a number 00972.......(I dont have the screen shot with me) in CFWD fielsds. I got the ATA from Canadacomputers and yes, it's in the DMZ, I couldn't get it to work properly otherwise.Jake wrote:Well... What was in there before you deleted it? That could be where your problem is then. Someone might have found your ATA and added/changed a few things.crg wrote:... and yes, it's in the DMZ, I couldn't get it to work properly otherwise.
DMZ is not really the best thing to do, but I am sure you probably know that. At a minimum I would make sure that you have an admin (if not user and admin) password(s) set. (login->admin>advanced setting)
The usernames you will need are user and admin, along with whatever password you put in. If you are 100% sure that you did not put that in, then it could also be worth asking FPL to reset your password just in case someone managed to get that out of your ATA also.
