It's working but latency probleme

Post by maximebeauvais »

Well,

After 30 min of setup I could say that I’m a new FPL user ;)

1) I did the plugin of OBi100 and all cable (2 min)
2) I had to figure out my password. It had some zero and capital letter o something like that O0. So I had to so some test and retest (5min)
3) After I just follow the sept by sept instruction here: http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3098 (10-15 min)
4) At the end, I was able to receive call but not make call so I had to open my port 5060 on my router (5 min).
5) Setup done and working !!!!
6) However, I have one small problem and I could not find anything here in the search function. When I was testing the telephone, I was speaking to my wife using my mobile and she was using the actual telephone. The conversation was not instantaneous…that was probably a 0.5 to 1 second delay. I’m sure there here a value somewhere in my ATA that I could change to fix this problem.
7) When #6 will be fix, I will transfer my current phone # and voila….Freephone !!!
8) I have highspeed internet so this should not be a problem.

Someone have any idea of what will cause this delay. It was annoying that the conversation had some delay (like if she was in japan and I was in Canada)

Thanks

Please see below:
