Hi, I have a number currently with another VOIP provider (CIK). Today, when I am trying to port that number to FPL online, I got message:"Error: Unfortunately the number (416) 695-xxxx is not available to be transferred to Freephoneline. We apologize for the inconvinience."
Is there any particular reason why I couldn't port my number to FPL account? Please help ! Thanks!

I do not think it would be a good idea to wait for Fongo to support your exchange. It has been a while since Fongo expanded their incoming calling area. Going with another VOIP provider is probably a more sensible move, but then again, you might have the same exchange issue with other VOIP providers. If no other VOIP phone providers are available, you could park you old phone number with a prepaid cell phone, Speakout offers a $10 SIM card and $25 of airtime for $35, and that lasts a year if you do not use the airtime much. Speakout does not like Quebec credit cards for some reason, but the Speakout service uses Rogers towers, and uses Quebec phone numbersjpagazzi wrote:Not yet but when ?
