No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy'
Hi All.
I had finally got my HT502 working perfectly with FPL on my original FPL phone number and then I ported my old Rogers landline number over. Once that was completed a number of issues have come up.
1. incoming calls do not receive a ringback. If I call my FPL # using my cell phone (or any phone) I do not hear it ring - but it actually does ring at home and if answered everything works fine.
2. Randomly, but often when calling my FPL# from my cell phone (Koodo) I receive a message '2UT2 - All circuits are busy'. This does not happen when calling any other number from my cell. As for the random part, I have been trying to isolate when it occurs and it appears to happen when the FPL is already in use (call waiting).
For the first issue, I found a thread on this occurring a few years back and it to only occurred after porting numbers. It indicated that FPL resolved the issue and to power cycle the ATA device. So I disconnected power to my HT502 for about 5 minutes and then reconnected, but the issues still persist.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit: I misread the symptoms. This suggestion would not have worked.

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
Just an update on the ringback issue. After troubleshooting some more, I have found the following..
With NAT transversal set to keep-alive or no then the ringback worksmas expected, however with this setting, once answered there is no incoming audio. If I set the NAT transversal to stun then the incoming audio works but then the ringback fails....
Anyone have suggestions ?
my stun server is set to stun.3cx.com.
Thanks

Remove your STUN server, set NAT Traversal to Keep-Alive, and set your Primary SIP Server to voip3.freephoneline.ca. Does that solve the problem?

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
Thanks Mango. That seemed to fix it. Awesome.
One last thing, although not a big deal is that when the incoming caller hangs up it goes to a fast busy and doesn't actually hang up. Again not a big issue bit a bit annoying when the answering machine is full of fast busy messages.
Thanks for all your help

Try to set Loop Current Disconnect to Yes. Does that solve the problem?
If not, try to increase Loop Current Disconnect Duration to 500 - but I expect it will work at the default of 200.

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
Be sure your device is configured as per the official guide, including my post below the official guide: http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16340
Since your ISP is Rogers, you may need to use the Rogers proxy voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060. You may also wish to set your SIP Port to a random number between 20000 and 65535.
If that doesn't solve the problem, open a ticket: http://support.fongo.com/anonymous_requests/new
Send Fongo Support a PM with the ticket number: http://forum.fongo.com/memberlist.php?m ... ile&u=7852

No, it should be literally labeled "SIP Port". RTP ports are different.

Thanks Mango, it works now. Just to make sure i changed the right values.
changed SIP TCP Port min: from 5060 > 20000 and SIP TCP port max : from 5080> 65535.
Thanks again for your help>

I think the problem is intermittent because it's not working again. i will try to power on/off the ATA.

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
Not SIP TCP Port. "SIP Port". It is not a range. Pick a single number (any number) between 20000 and 65535.
However, since things worked without changing it, perhaps that is not causing your problem.

Just to clarify - your SPA112 is configured as per the official guide, including my post below the official guide, correct?
Yes, it is fine to use an HT502.

yes i configured the spa112 as per the official guide including your post.
If i decide to switch to the HT502, all i need to do is configure the HT502 as per the official guideline?

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
Tech support suspect that causing my problem is because I have two DHCP server. Any suggestion what can I do fix it. I have Hitron CGN3ACR operating in bridge mode and an ASUS RTAC66U router.

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
If your Hitron is operating in bridge mode, it is not acting as a DHCP server. Your Asus router probably is - what is the second device?

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
The FPL technician thinks it's the Hitron is the second device. I did not have this problem when i was using the older roger's modem Hitron CGN3. The roger's technician is suggesting maybe my router needs a little bit of adjustment. Any thought on this i idea. if i connect the spa112 directly to the modem, it works but it slows down the internet.

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
The SPA112 does not contain a router. How does it slow down the internet?

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
that was my observation when i try to continue surfing the net. I am not sure what caused the slowdown. that was just a guess. i forgot to mention when i did that, the router is also connected to the modem.

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
i performed a test on my network as per tech support advice. i connected the spa112 to my hitron CGN3ACR modem from rogers directly. disconnected the router from the modem. I used my cell to call the home phone. i still can not hear ring back tone. after the third ring, i got a busy signal but the phone continued to ring up to 10 rings before it goes to voicemail. i did that several times and i got the same results.any idea what is going on.

Looks like your device is not configured properly.
Please perform a factory reset- details below:
http://blog.voipdiy.com/2013/02/cisco-s ... ctory.html
Once the device has been reset to defaults- reconfigure it as per the link below:
http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16206
Note: for Hitron you need to use voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060
Let us know.

Re: No inbound ringback & random '2UT2 All circuits are busy
Hi,
I performed the factory reset. The problem still exist. I am just wondering, maybe the new hitron modem is the culprit. I am not positive of the timeline when the problem started before or after I changed the modem.
