Hi,
I've changed my ISP from Bell Fiber internet to CanNet Telecom cable internet (TPIA Rogers) on July 29th. Since then, Since then, I noticed that I cannot hear anymore anybody when they call or when I call. They can hear me but I can’t hear them.
This issue appears only after some time (~15 mins) once the SIP is configured, initially after the settings everything works fines but after these 15 minutes (or so) I start having the stated issue continuously until I restart the SIP WRTP54G.
I use a Linksys SIP, WRTP54G that worked fine using voip.freephoneline.ca proxy, I also tried use voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060, with the same result.
I tried the softphone that you have and with that one works. I don’t know what configuration you have there and why is working.
In advance, Thanks for your precious help and support,
Ash

Ensure that whatever modem/router combo your ISP gave you is in bridge mode. Contact your ISP if necessary.ashish wrote:Hi,

Based on your profile, you're using an Asus router. Ensure that you're not using the WRTP54G as your router to avoid double NAT firewall issues. They can hear me but I can’t hear them.

Double check your settings against the the .zip file at http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8850 and also at http://support.freephoneline.ca/hc/en-u ... redentials.
Especially pay attention to NAT keep alive settings.
Then click http://forums.redflagdeals.com/freephon ... #p26808549, and follow the steps carefully, in particular from i to 12 (towards the bottom of the post). If you're still using that Asus router in your profile, you can probably ignore step 6 (the SIP ALG setting in Asus routers is called SIP Passthrough).
While the instructions apply to a PAP2T, the settings should be similar for your ATA. If you can't find the exact location for a setting, try looking elsewhere for it (possibly a different menu). I am unable to locate screenshots of the SIP and USER tab settings for your ATA, so I have no reference.
Please note that only one registration per FPL account is allowed at any time.I tried the softphone that you have and with that one works. I don’t know what configuration you have there and why is working.
When there are multiple devices or softphones using the same account, only the most recent registration is valid. The previous device will lose registration and incoming calls will not work on it. As for why the FPL desktop app is working for you while your ATA isn't, I suspect the ATA is not configured properly.
