Mailbox Size Limit?

Post by wwwKris »

Is there a limit to the size of your mailbox? If so, what happens when it fills up - will the older messages simply be deleted?

That's actually a good question that I don't know the answer to, unfortunately. I'm unwilling to load up my account with messages to test.
All I know is that the message expiry is 10 days: https://support.freephoneline.ca/hc/en- ... ges-expiry.

Perhaps someone else here knows and will respond. If not, you can always submit a ticket and ask since it's not really a tech support/device configuration question (FPL tech support isn't free): https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
Please do not send me emails; I do not work for nor represent Freephoneline or Fongo. Post questions on the forums so that others may learn from responses or assist you. Thank you. If you have an issue with your account or have a billing issue, submit a ticket here: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Thanks for the reply. Didn't realize the messages would expire in 10 days. Given that, I'm guessing it's very unlikely that I would fill the mailbox even if a size limit exists. I'll wait to see if anyone else responds but it's probably a non-issue given your response. Thanks!

The link does mention that "You can dial in to your voicemail box to save messages for an additional 10 days", so if you do that maybe your voicemail account can fill up. I'm not sure what the message limit is though, sorry.

If you have your messages forwarded to email, expecially gmail, messages that delete will be less of a concern.
