Please don't crosspost in multiple discussion areas about the same issue. Troubleshooting in multiple threads about the exact same issue becomes confusing. Thank you for your future consideration.

I have never used elastix. However, I note they have their own forums: https://www.elastix.org/community/. I would try asking there to see if anyone has suggestions for you (do a forum search there for DTMF).

I would also try using Inband for dtmfmode if that option is available, and I would also ensure I'm using the G.711u codec only.

You might also ask on their forums what the setting is for adjusting incoming volume level (try raising it slightly to see if that has any effect).

Otherwise, I have no further ideas.

There is no number available, officially, to call for free tech support for Freephoneline users. There's only pay per incident tech support for Freephoneline available, and you would need to submit a ticket first to arrange something: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. If you can prove the problem is with Freephoneline, as opposed to being an issue on your end, your fee will be refunded: https://support.freephoneline.ca/hc/en- ... al-Support.

Otherwise, there is no technical support available for Freephoneline users: visit https://support.freephoneline.ca/hc/en-us.

"PLEASE NOTE that we do not provide technical support or troubleshooting for Freephoneline VoIP Unlock Key issues. You can view the general VoIP Unlock Key settings here: http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... redentials. You can find setup guides for most ATAs here: viewforum.php?f=15. If all else fails, we also offer pay per incident support; click here for details: http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... al-Support.

Fongo Mobile and Fongo Home Phone customers get access to free technical support but not Freephoneline users.

I have no issues getting DTMF recognized with any of my Freephoneline numbers using ATAs or Groundwire, which is a SIP app. Obihai's Auto Attendant also works fine with incoming DTMF key presses on all of my FPL numbers involving calls from cellphones or landlines to my FPL numbers (my FPL lines work fine for incoming DTMF).

You can test outgoing DTMF at http://thetestcall.blogspot.ca/. You can call either the 416 or 250 numbers for free. Dial #. And then choose one of the options from 1 to 9. There’s a free echo test, DTMF test (check to make sure all your touchtone keys are recognized), Caller ID readback, etc. I have no issues getting DTMF recognized with bank phone systems either.

Note that when DTMFmode is set to Inband, DTMF will not work with FPL's voicemail system.
