ditto... i am getting a bit frustrated as this is a bit ridiculous, problems at xmas fine they were fixing maybe an attack or whatever... now we are 20+ days later and these problems are still happening... this is becoming so unreliable that my security system keeps on waking us up and we get calls from the security company about intrusion because the line goes down.

ANY eta on when this can be fixed or what is going on?!?!

I'm down as well. When I dial out I get an immediate busy signal. When I check voicemail it tells me "That account number does not exist".

I'm in the London, Ontario area.

I just checked my FPL and DV lines and they seem to be OK.

Maybe they are in the process of moving the accounts around.

Folks hang on and do not start resetting your devices. Seems there is problem at the server end, I just tested using the soft phone and even that is not working. At least we are receiving calls from outside world.

I have sent a email to support for this and let us hope for the best and encourage the tech team instead of ranting.

Good to know I'm not alone.
At first I thought it was due to me not reversing the changes I made with the ATA to send a fax.

Oh well I don't really need to make any calls anyway, nor am I expecting any either.

I don't mind if there is a downtime.. we get no notification... and even nothing on the forums here... it just happens and we have no eta.
What if there is an emergency at home and no one has a mobile phone?

Atleast have some updates and eta's and a sense of responsibility so we don't feel like we are in dark all the time.

This was great since i joined but since xmas issues issues issues.

I understand your frustration. I've been using FPL since '09 and to be honest with you I have been very pleased with this free service. Granted there have been problems in the past and will continue to be in the future, but all in all as far as a free phone service goes I'm not complaining about a minor inconvienence.

I just checked again and one of my accounts can call out, but not receive calls.

Obviously something is being worked on, and hopefully to make things more stable.

Anyone from Fongo could you please provide an update on ETR and cause of the issue?

Thanks in advance

Same in Ottawa:
819-281-XXXX
819-815-XXXX
Issues with two FPL numbers:
I can receive call no issues
I can't make outbout calls: rapid busy signal
I can't go in my voice mail *98, I get error: "This account number is not valid" "Ce numéro de compte est inexistant"
My registrations are fine for both lines.

I agree, i have been with there sister company (Clearpointel) for around 5 years approx, besides the small minor hiccups over 5 years im still overly pleased with my Voip phone line service and I can tell you all that I have seen so much worse with other Voip providers so i don't understand why all the negativity here! :?

Cheer up everyone, it will be fixed in no time just be patient and give the engineers some time to work on what ever your problem your experiencing.

I live in Montreal (514) 447 I can make calls and receive them as we speak. Date: Wednesday Jan 16, 5:45pm

Same issue here in Woodbridge, Ontario. Incoming seems to be fine but outgoing I'm experiencing the same symptoms as others. While I accept that it is a free service, I thought that it would have been a bit more reliable having moved over from Bell last year and not considered some of the other competitors. Hoping it gets resolved soon as I really like the service and want to recommend them to more friends and family.
