Music On Hold Feature with Linksys PAP2T

I see that the Linksys PAP2T ATA has a Music On Hold feature. I followed the instructions in the admin guide for the ATA and it informs me to enter in "imusic" for the MOH Server.

When I set that up, and try putting a call on hold, the person being put on hold hears "This Service Is Not Available..."

Does FPL/Fongo support this feature? or am I just not setting it up correctly?

At present time we have a default MOH that plays from the server side - we don't support the altering of that via user agents.

Main reason behind this is the broadcast and copyright laws surrounding music on hold.

Thanks Steve for the quick response. So are you saying that there is default music that already will play when I put a call on hold?

I have the same setup as Rob and when i hit flash to jump to another call the on hold music did not play, is there a different method for jumping between calls to get the hold music to play, (a * command perhaps)?

Any idea if there are any changes I would need to make to get this to work on my setup if its a service FPL is offering its users, thus far I have not been able to get it to work, has anyone else?

I simply use the 'flash' button to switch between calls and the non-active call gets the music. If you wanted to PM me your number I can double check the configuration and also give it a quick test on my office ATA (a Grandstream HT-286).

Is there a way to turn the music off entirely?

Note that I've set up 2 accounts, one for myself a few years back, and now one for my parents, and only my parents' account has on hold music, even though I've set them up the same way.
