Mac OS X .12

Hi: The desktop APP will not install on Mac OSX.12. Any suggestions? (I have installed the legacy version of Java.
When I attempt to install the desk top app I get the error message that it is "damaged" and cannot be installed.

This might have something to do with the Gatekeeper program. This comes up from time to time

Hi: I already tried this but it did not work. Gatekeeper settings on OSX.12 did not permit to accept apps from "everywhere".
here is the issue and error message:


"Damaged" app. – The app has been altered by something other than the developer. This message will appear no matter the Gatekeeper option chosen.
"App name" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Thanks for letting us know. I will keep that link in mind also when this comes up again.
Not having a MAC I just have have to rely on what others say does and doesn't work, so thanks again.
