I use my service only occasionally. I do have my FPL account setup on my Android phone so I can make and receive calls from the road. The online portal shows "CONNECTED SIPUA/0.0.001"
A friend of mine today told me that he had received an error when he tried to leave a voice mail.
I called my number from a landline and got "I'm sorry but the person you called has a voice mailbox that has not been setup yet".
It's worked in the past, but I couldn't say how recently.
How do I setup my mailbox? I tried * and # at the greeting, but no-go.

Re: Voice Mail Stopped Taking Messages
Typically, you can reach voicemail by dialing your own FPL number using Freephoneline.
Alternatively, you can try calling one of these Voice Mail Access numbers: https://www.freephoneline.ca/vmAccessNumbers.
You account number begins with 1.
Please note that only one registration per FPL account is allowed at any time.
When there are multiple devices/softphones using the same account, only the most recent registration is valid. The previous device will lose registration and incoming calls will not work on it.
Registration is required for incoming calls but not for outgoing calls.

Re: Voice Mail Stopped Taking Messages
Thanks. That worked. I setup a greeting and exited successfully.
I called again from a landline and got the same error.

Re: Voice Mail Stopped Taking Messages
Disable Follow Me, ensure voicemail is setup on all numbers in your follow me list, or reduce the number of rings before FPL's voicemail picks up.
One of the phone numbers in your follow me list is answering the call, and voicemail isn't setup on that number. Consequently, that's why you receive that error message.
You likely have some form of call forwarding setup somewhere.
Follow Me settings can be adjusted after logging in here: https://www.freephoneline.ca/followMeSettings.
You can adjust rings before voicemail after logging in at https://www.freephoneline.ca/voicemailSettings.
