Short Message Codes

2 step processes are used everywhere in North America. When will Fongo support Short message codes (I.E. under 10 digits)? Receiving in particular.

If I were to guess, I would say never. There is no money in it for Fongo.

I might add, if a service is using short codes as authentication, it is a deliberate act to dissuade use of VOIP services because those services, have in the past, have been subject to abuse.

In some cases (certainly not all), Fongo Mobile does support receiving short code verification texts provided you pay: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... ifications (read the bold sections).

I have been a long time subscriber to Fongo's paid text messaging addon. 6 digit numeric code from U.S. does not work.

SMS short codes listed in the July 2018 notice from the link I sent to work. Yes, others are not guaranteed to work.
