Where are the prices?

Postby Tomorrow2019 » 09/06/2019

I have to dig so much to unearth any prices on this ridiculous website. Unbelievable how they make you click on and on to try to find a price. They mention outgoing texting but can one use that on a computer? What about incoming? Couldn't find anything on that. Is it free? Is it unlimited? You can't even email them questions it seems. What a ridiculous company.

You've posted in the Fongo Home Phone forum. Fongo Home Phone does not support texting.

Fongo Home Phone does not have a smartphone application nor offers a desktop (computer) application. Fongo Home Phone service is provided over a Grandstream ATA, which customers have to buy from Fongo. Fongo Home Phone is not a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) service. Fongo Home Phone costs $4.95+tax per month. The monthly fee includes free technical support via online tickets and free 911 calls. The ATA currently costs $29 + $9.95 (shipping) + $4.95 (a one month deposit) + taxes. The current fee to port in a phone number during sign-up is $9.95+tax. After sign-up, the the porting fee is $25+tax. Outbound Fongo Home Phone and Fongo Mobile long distance rates can be located at https://account.fongo.com/calling/long-distance/. Visit https://www.fongo.com/fongo-world-credits/ for information concerning world credits.
Incoming calls are included in the $4.95+tax monthly fee. Outgoing calls to all Canadian provinces are included in the $4.95+tax monthly fee.

The respective Android and iOS Fongo Mobile smartphone applications do support texting.
Fongo Mobile is a smartphone application. Incoming texts to Fongo Mobile numbers are free. Outgoing texts to non-Fongo Mobile numbers are not.

Concerning MMS, visit https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... imitations.
Outgoing texting to non-Fongo Mobile numbers requires an in-app purchase. You can check current pricing from within the respective Fongo Mobile app being used.
For example, currently, for unlimited outgoing texts to non-Fongo Mobile numbers, using iOS the current fees are $2.79+tax for one month, $5.49+tax for 3 months, or $9.99+tax for 6 months.
For unlimited outgoing global texting to non-Fongo Mobile numbers, using iOS the current fees are $3.99+tax for one month, $8.49+tax for 3 months, or $14.99+tax for 6 months.
Porting in a number to Fongo Mobile costs $25+tax.
Please make note of Fongo Mobile's Account Inactivity & Deletion policy: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... ion-Policy.
People who pay to port in a number ($25+tax) to Fongo Mobile are not subject to the Account Inactivity policy (in addition to the other exceptions noted in the link).
Incoming calls are free. Outgoing calls to Canadian provinces are free.

Freephoneline offers a free (computer) desktop application, which does not support texting. If someone wants to use Freephoneline on an (unlocked) IP Phone, ATA, or SIP application, a one time fee of $99.95 +tax must be paid. Freephoneline is a BYOD service. Each 911 call is $35+tax. Technical support for problems on the customer's end is not free. The fee to port in a phone number is $25+tax.
Free Freephoneline accounts (desktop app only) are subject to an Account Inactivity & Deletion policy: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... ion-Policy. People who buy VoIP unlock keys ($99.95+tax) or pay to port in a number ($25+tax) to Freephoneline are not subject to the Account Inactivity policy.
Freephoneline outbound long distance rates can be located at https://www.freephoneline.ca/ldServices. Incoming calls are free. Outgoing calls to Canadian provinces are free.

Users are provided with a free phone number upon sign-up. Should a user wish to port a number into any of these services, that number must belong to one of these places: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... go-network.

Fongo Home Phone, Fongo Mobile, and Freephoneline are separate services, and the same phone number cannot be shared across accounts. Each account provides its own distinct phone number.
All of these services require internet service (provided by your home ISP for Fongo Home Phone, Wi-Fi, or cellular data).

You can contact Fongo by submitting an online ticket: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
Please do not send me emails; I do not work for nor represent Freephoneline or Fongo. Post questions on the forums so that others may learn from responses or assist you. Thank you.
