[Resolved] No outgoing calls - Account Balance Insufficient

Postby markis13446 » 06/09/2020

Hi,

My outgoing calls are being blocked due to "Account Balance Insufficient". Incoming calls are fine. This is a local call I'm making. I went to the online store to add more funds however it seems down. Any ideas? I at least would think local calls would work without having a balance.

Thanks for posting!

Having the same problem.
incoming calls work.
Outgoing calls generates the "Your account balance is insufficient to place your call to that destination" message.
All local numbers are generate the same message.

Tried resetting ATA but the same error occurs.
Tried switching from voip.freephoneline.ca to voip2.freephoneline.ca [ and vice versa ], but same error occurs.

Hopefully they can resolve the outgoing calls issue(s).

Note: toll free numbers will dial out.
This suggests some back-end account setting that is improperly blocking the outgoing calls.

I am having the same problem for calls that I can regularly make to my mom in Ontario without any fees with freephoneline.

The message keeps saying, "Your account balance is insufficient to place your call to that destination".

I tried a different number and it says the same thing. Both numbers should have worked.

Everyone is having the same problem.
It didn't exist before 2:57 p.m. EST. I'm not sure when the problem started.
On one FPL account, I've been getting charged for outgoing calls to provinces after 6:48 p.m. EST, June 9, 2020.
And on FPL accounts with no world credits, I'm not able to make outgoing calls to provinces for free.

I suggest everyone submit a ticket if you've had World Credits deducted to ask for a refund: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
Choose "World Credits Inquiry" for the final issue type.

Others can submit a ticket as well.

Currently, tickets are looked at Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST. Due to COVID-19, responses are delayed.
Please do not send me emails; I do not work for nor represent Freephoneline or Fongo. Post questions on the forums so that others may learn from responses or assist you. Thank you. If you have an issue with your account or have a billing issue, submit a ticket here: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Visit http://status.fongo.com/ to check FPL/Fongo service status. Freephoneline setup guides can be found at viewforum.php?f=15.

Freephoneline and the Fongo app still not working today.

"Make a Test Call" on the Fongo app also says, "Your account balance is insufficient to place your call to that destination".

Please fix ASAP, thanks!

For ongoing, unresolved issues that can’t be resolved with tickets, customers can submit complaints to CCTS:
https://www.ccts-cprst.ca/. I would give Fongo a chance to respond to support request tickets first, at least.

Postby myinfodrive » 06/10/2020

Hi support,

I am a freephoneline user who purchased the SIP settings. Starting this morning, every outgoing call I dialed, I received:
You account balance is insufficient to place your call to that destination.

I am pretty sure the number I tested is the local number, this is never happened, would you please help?

Thanks
