[Resolved] voicemail phone messages

voicemail,, says its full, no more messages allowed, but no stored messages saved,will not allow a message to be entered...thx

1. Login at https://www.freephoneline.ca/mailbox to ensure you don't have voicemail. I do not advise deleting voicemail here unless you have no other choice.

2. Login at https://www.freephoneline.ca/voicemailSettings

a) Change Rings before voicemail to something different (4 or 5, perhaps).

b) Click update.

c) Try leaving voicemail now (provided you don't have voicemail listed in step 1).


If the problem persists, submit a ticket and ask to have your voicemail account checked: http://support.fongo.com/anonymous_requests/new

hi thx for reply,,,,no voicemail saved erased all of them,,, changed rings back to 4,, which i recall, i did change to 2,about a week ago or so,,,,,same issue not allowed to leave a voicemail,,,,any other ideas thx again

Also, if you have Follow Me enabled, disable it. Then try calling your FPL number and leaving a message. It's possible another number's voicemail box is full that's in your Follow Me list.
If that Follow Me number is picking up instead due to the number of rings triggering the other VM system first before FPL's VM system, then that would be the cause.

That’s an automated response. You are not responsible for issues that are not on your end.
Your ticket is still open until you receive an email stating that it’s been closed.

I forgot to mention that when you submit the ticket, choose “my account inquiry” for the final issue type.
You’re asking them to check your account for a voicemail issue.

Voicemail services have a "degraded performance" status at the moment based on https://status.fongo.com/.

Identified - For some users, the calling party is unable to leave a voice message because their mailbox is full for Fongo Mobile, Fongo Home Phone, Fongo Works, or FreePhoneLine. We are currently working on this issue and we will provide an update as soon as possible.
