Re: Clearpointel "Down" https://www.clearpointel.ca/

I got my Clearpointtel account switched over to Freephoneline before the redirect. I opened a ticket, and the swap was done. Not sure if there will be any cost though, probably not. Open a ticket, and let us know how it goes. Hi, That is correct. Please open a ticket and it will be resolved. http:/...

Re: My analysis of one-way audio issues

Can I ask you guys what kind of routers are you using behind your modems that's causing these issues? I have tested both the Huawei and SmartRG modems and i can confirm (without any routers) the Grandstream and a few other sip devices I own have no issues connecting with Voip.freephoneline.ca In the...

Re: My analysis of one-way audio issues

UPNP works fine for me and others that are in my family across Canada wtih different Internet Providers . Though I have seen another method where people say that enabling the Modem or Router "SIP ALG" solves many sip issues. In other words these mentioned methods by-pass the modems/routers...

Re: My analysis of one-way audio issues

No I have not. Perhaps try using upnp instead of keep alive concerning the grand stream devices. When UPNP is used, does the router allow incoming traffic only from the service provider or does it allow it from any source? It is a solution that i have used allot to solve common voip issues, usually...

Re: My analysis of one-way audio issues

However, not all ATAs, (most notably Grandstream) support this feature. have you tried UPNP instead of keep alive? Yes, the issue does not affect all users. (going by your profile post-bit info) Your with Telus? 2 close family members are also with TELUS in the west and selecting UPNP instead of ke...

Connect a phone to the back of your Grandstream device Pick your phone up and just dial *** then dial 02 Copy the IP that it read out ...

Re: FPL - Can not hear other side

the other side can hear me no problem, while I can only hear silence. Im guessing its earthier your wifi router/modem/3g filtering the recommended FPL ports for your telephone to work fully, things like one-way audio etc are usually related to ports being blocked by hardware firewalls. I suggest yo...
