Re: Voice mail problem
I am with FPL. There is nothing wrong with router, modem and ATA. I can make and receive a call as normal. But I am not at home, somebody call me and leave me a message. I don't get a message. My account shows me that I don't have any message. When I press *98, it says that there is no message. Nor...

Re: freephoneline is still down over a week now
I live in Mississauga, ON and I use a VOIP adapter to make and receive calls. For over a week now my lines have not been working. Emails to customer support have not been answered. You would think freephoneline/fongo would at least acknowledge that there is a major problem and post something about ...

Re: Why does my Linksys E4200v2 router not detect my ATA?
Your 2wire is a modem plus router. If you connect your E4200 router to your 2wire, then you will have double NAT, the first from 2wire and the second from the E4200. Your options are: 1-use the inferior routing and wireless features of 2wire, and no other device with routing function is to be added....

Re: Why does my Linksys E4200v2 router not detect my ATA?
Sorry I can't see how. Could you explain please? It should by getting it from the router because I don't have my ISP user name or password enter into the modem. Really? And yet your modem gives you 192.168.0.1? Hmm! As you can see I do not have DSL nor the modem and router that you have, however, I...

I should mention that my modem (2wire 2701HG-G with QWEST firmware) has IP address: 192.168.0.1....maybe this is where I am wrong? ... Yes, that is one area where you are wrong. A modem gives you a public IP address, and a router gives you a private IP address such as 192.168.0.1. Essentially, you ...

Hello, Any one having problem connecting out going call in Calgary? Please post. Thank you, JR It is a Fongo service issue...it is probably network-wide. @mgadei I believe it is Bing Kol who is accused of shouting. And he is explaining that he was not shouting. Anyway, your posts are a bit confusing because you mentioned about cable internet, a download speed of 10 mbps and upload of 1.5 mbps, and your profile indicates freephoneline as your ISP. Let...

Re: Is the Dell partnership dead?
The Dell relationship is still alive and well. If you'll notice when you log into the app there's still branding in various places and some Dell ads in rotation as well. But, is this not because it takes ages before Fongo (et al) softwares are corrected? Just asking. :o Yesterday, it was announced ...

@jchen I have an unlocked FPL and this is what I tested today. Note that this was just to test the features (hence may not be conclusive) as I use a different setup to handle my incoming calls. Re: Message waiting indicator not working
At this time we can't find any MWI related issues on our end. My test on the Grandstream on my desk yielded a fairly fast MWI response (within about a minute or so, but I wasn't timing). I notice you're both using PAP2T ATAs. Do we have any other forum members reading the board who are using PAP2Ts...

You did not mention enough info for anybody to help you.
So here is my shot in the dark. If you have a Linksys ATA, it could be a dialplan issue. Post your dialplan and we will try to help you.

Call waiting works perfectly on my FPL lines so I would say that the problem is not on FPL's end.
I suggest that you try dialling *56, wait for dial tone then hang up. Call waiting should work after that. Give it a test...good luck!

Re: How to bock outbound 911
I have a few minutes on my hands before my meeting, so here...say ah! Add "911!" at the beginning of your dial plan. Hence your dial plan would look like, (911!|...) replacing the ... with the original dial plan without the parentheses. A better approach would be to redirect the 911 call t...

Continuing on FONGO_mike's reply above...
However, since you have a PAP2T-NA you can block any number from being dialled out from your phone. You have to search the forum or google PAP2T dial plans as I have a short window to do that for you at the moment.
