Is there a way to make the softphone use the default communication device in windows 7?
If not, is there any plan to include this feature in the near future

turns out it was my sound card driver which caused the problem, I just removed it and everything works great again.

even when connected strait to the modem with my firewall off I get a connection timeout.
but I just tried it on my other computer and it works fine, even behind my router and firewall, strange.

since Friday I can no longer make any call. I don't even hear the ring tone.
when i test the connection I get timeout expired.
I far as I know nothing as changed on my end.

Is there a way to make the softphone use a particular headset? I have a USB headset which doesn't work with FPL but is great for music, movie and games, this would be my default headset for everything. Turns out the problem was with my USB headset.

I'm using Kaspersky KIS, but I experience the problem even when I turn it off.
EDIT: I'm using an USB headset, could that be the source of the problem?

For every call I make or receive the first second or two are either inaudible or extremely distorted. This is not such a big deal when I make a call as I don't mind not hearing the ring, but when I receive one I have to wait 1 sec before speaking or the other end won't ear it also with automated ans...
