Over the last year, every 2-3 months, I have to change the proxy server name because freephoneline stop to work.
The name that I have to enter is voip.freephoneline.ca OR voip2.freephoneline.ca
I always have to alternate. is it normal?

sorry but I tought it was the same, I taught fongo was juste the name of the compagny.....anyway, I guess that what it is good for me is that freephoneline has no monthly fee

I paid 50$ for the key, 25$ for the transfert of #, and 39$ for ATA
Now, I saw on the front page that the fee are 79$ for the key, 25$ for transfert of # and 4.95 monthly fee
What is this monthly fee about????

Just for the record and maybe it could help other people. I have this problem 2 days ago. I was able to call but I could not hear the other side. However, they were able to hear me. I just did a shut down of my ATA for 30 sec and power up and that's it, work fine. PS: someone know why is this happen...

I used to be with videotron.
I did the switch to bell around 4 months ago.
They give me the Hub2000.
So what I did:
Unplug my ATA, remove my old router and plug my ATA to one port of the new Hub2000.
Work A1.

I just tested voip.freephoneline.ca; it seems to be working. Check to be sure your device is configured as per the official guide: http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16090 . In particular, make sure your RegistrationPeriod is set to 3600. If the problem returns, try to change your X_Us...

I understand that keeping your # is a must.
However, if you can't keep it or port it, then think about all the money that you will save if you change your phone number.
I have done the move with FPL for maybe 3 months and no more $$ need to be sent to videotron

So far, with the upgrade of DDWRT on Sunday, everything is fine. No more problem. We have done and receive probably 20-30 calls.
I hope that wit the new software, that it was the permanent fix for my problem

On the DD WRT setup, there are a check box to enable to disable QoS. I have check the box to enable. This by itself will not do anything. You also need to configure the uplink and downlink speeds of your internet connection, minus 20%. Then you need to assign your OBi's MAC address high priority. o...
