Re: Service Outage Till 2013/2/12 ?
Confirming the same as Hyrules said - an email notification had been sent out several days prior to the maintenance, was posted on our service status page, and also in the forums. Unfortunately the voicemail maintenance did extend a couple hours longer than planned which was updated in our forums.

Re: Forum times are wrong
Looks like it doesn't have any sort of automatic DST in the back end and thus needs to be manually changed when DST starts and ends.

Voicemail services were restored within the last ~30 minutes. We apologize for the longer than expected downtime on this part of the calling platform.

A few updates are wrapping up on the voicemail system which ran a little longer than planned. Voicemail service should be restored shortly and we will update as soon as it is.

Re: Porting my FPL number to another service provider
Thanks Mike, the new Telco is asking for a copy of a recent phone bill for the numbers i wish to port, which of course we don't get from FPL. I have tried calling Fongo accounts BUT you cannot speak to a real person to ask questions. Therefore, could you please let me know what information I can ge...

Re: Authentication Password
Do note that warranty is voided if the "warranty void if reset sticker" is removed. Is there a particular reason it was reset? There's generally no circumstances where a reset proves to be useful as the devices are all pre-configured and even hand tested before leaving our warehouse. Suppo...

Re: Calls Still Going Straight To Voicemail
Hi Mike, the timeout is set to 30 seconds. You'll want to set the registration timeout to 3600 seconds. Really aggressive timeouts like 30 seconds or less, where devices are registering several times a minute or more, will result in a short block of that IP to prevent abuse. If your set to 30 secon...

Re: Incoming Calls Not Possible After Porting
Hi Luke,
If you've received the completion email then your number is already on our network and ready to go! When a porting date was confirmed we would have also sent you an email, but if you don't remember seeing that one then it may have been caught in a spam filter perhaps.

Unfortunately we do not allow this to prevent service abuse. You could consider porting your other number over to our service if it's in an area we can provide porting.

I appreciate you trying to help but the only one that can is freephoneline and they obviously could care less. I had already signed into my account on freephoneline.ca to double check the fpl settings listed in the settings section. I entered everything listed there in my ATA. I've done this severa...

Re: Now look what at what they are doing....
We always do our best to communicate major, planned maintenance and our new service status page should also be beneficial in communicating service impacting problems or maintenance: http://status.fongo.com/ You sneaked that one in there, why wasn't it announced (or is this the announcement)? May I ...

Re: Now look what at what they are doing....
It's always advised to use our hostname SIP servers (sip.fongo.com/voip.freephoneline.ca) and to not setup devices to bind to the IP addresses that a server may resolve to at any given time. As we continue to grow and scale as a company, so does the architecture that drives everything behind the sce...

Re: Delay when people calls me
Do you have the modem connected directly to the WRTP54G, or is the WRTP54G being daisy chained off another router? Reason for asking is even though the WRTP54G is a router itself, I see a lot of users daisy chain it off their other router (which will often have wireless N, or functionality not avail...

Re: charged 3 times!
If you've submitted a billing ticket then the team will get this corrected and follow-up with you as soon as they pick-up your ticket. The rep wouldn't have intentionally charged you three times, it was more than likely some sort of system error or glitch that caused the triple charge, or something ...
