Re: What is going on? All incoming going straight to VM.
Has anyone received any info from Freephoneline team? You're joking, right? They only reply to threads that are not technical in nature because they don't understand what has been posted. @rtgraydon has been on Twitter since I tweeted him, we'll see if that goes anywhere. The rats are all gett'in o...

And if that doesn't work, maybe we can dig up the email and phone numbers of the CEO, CTO and maybe some VP's. Time to light some fires under peoples butts.

Heh! Can edit posts but can't comment on what is obviously an issue affecting quite a few users. Pathetic.

Re: Calls Still Going Straight To Voicemail
You'll want to set the registration timeout to 3600 seconds. Really aggressive timeouts like 30 seconds or less, where devices are registering several times a minute or more, will result in a short block of that IP to prevent abuse. If your set to 30 seconds then that's most likely the case here. A...

My calls seem to be working now that I am registered to the .170 server. If I get registered to .160 or .165 my calls don't come in.

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Ahhh, that would make sense. *WHEN* the call makes it to my Asterisk server I answer right away and send Ring Back to the caller then send the call to a local mailbox as I use Google Speech to Text transcription on my mailboxes. So that explains why I 'normally' only see 1 call in my logs. Now, if w...

And down again.
Wireshark trace at my firewall shows no incoming call from the FPL server when my number is dialed. Something is up in those crazy Fongo offices today.

Well, while doing some Wireshark captures it started working. Not sure what to make of it. Will just chalk it up to the expected weekly outage.

The Fongo Portal does not give you the SIP password. You need to speak with Fongo for that. PM Mike or Steve for help.

Unless the Fongo user portal is different from a FPL user, to see your SIP password in FPL go to:
App Settings, Settings (bottom of page), SIP settings.

Re: SIP password for my ATA
If the Fongo portal is working, you should be able to login there and get it. If the portal is down, well....call Fongo, but we all know that's not much of an option.

Re: Now look what at what they are doing....
Please go ahead and post the IP block that *may* tentatively send me a call, and I can go ahead and open up my configuration for that block. You better have all those Grandstream users remove that option from their ATA's as well. Don't forget to explain to them why they are all of a sudden getting v...

Re: Now look what at what they are doing....
It's always advised to use our hostname SIP servers (sip.fongo.com/voip.freephoneline.ca) and to not setup devices to bind to the IP addresses that a server may resolve to at any given time. As we continue to grow and scale as a company, so does the architecture that drives everything behind the sc...

Re: Now look what at what they are doing....
Yeah, it wouldn't be bad if they send the call to the server that you are registered to, but they didn't appear to do that today. If that continues I'll have to port.
