Re: Choppy incoming voice quality
To follow up, I signed up for VoIP.ms to test, and it works perfectly, crystal clear. When I moved back to freephoneline.ca, I had the issues. People said I sound crystal clear, but it's horribly choppy, like a ton of packets were being dropped. It didn't matter if I changed the registration server ...

Choppy incoming voice quality
I'm running the freephoneline.ca on a 3CXserver. When I make calls internally to the 3cxserver from phone to phone, or phone to voicemail, everything is great. When people either call me, or I call someone else, the voice quality THEY hear is great, the voice quality I hear is very choppy. Is anyone...

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
I have this issue as well, you'd think that they'd chime in by now, or atleast update their website to indicate incoming calls are an issue.

Re: Possible Freephoneline service interruption Dec 23th, 20
it would be great if we could get updates, as I'm still unable to register, and have been having intermittent issues since December 19th. Can you please keep this thread updated?

Re: Possible service interruption for some users Dec 19th, 2
If this is infact what's going on, it'd be great if someone from fongo could confirm it. I do rely on my FPL, and if they could post an update as to where they are in fixing this issue, that'd be great. I don't mind that if they are having an issue and fixing it, I just want to know that they are ha...

Issues calling xxx-310-xxx numbers
I thought I'd ask, as I started looking into this further after being unable to dial 310 numbers. For instance, I'm trying to dial Panago Pizza, xxx-310-0001, and everytime I get a message saying my call can't be completed. I've tried with the area code and without. I can dial long distance, and I h...

Re: Setup of Cisco 7940g [Fixed!]
Hey, I did exactly this setup, forwarded those ports, the only difference is I am using port 5063 as opposed to 5060. No dice, can't even make outgoing calls. My router supports DYNDNS, it's address is setup and updated correctly and inserted into the config. Fast busy when I try and make an outgoin...

Re: Stun or Port Forwarding
I am curious, what do you use for a STUN server?
I have a phone that works great for any and all outgoing calls, but it can't take an incoming call at all. The ports in my firewall are forwarded correctly, but I've long suspected that the culprit is this STUN server/

Re: UC520 & Freephoneline
I don't know if there is any further updates on this. Out of curiosity, what type of software level is the UC520 at? Is it connected directly to your internet source or does it pass through other switches or routers? If your DSL or cable modem isn't directly connected to the UC520, maybe that's wort...

Re: unable to register
That was setup, not only was port 5060, and 5061 both forwarded (TCP and UDP) to the ATA device, the ATA device is setup with a DHCP reservation so it pulls the same IP each and every time, and it was placed in the DMZ. Besides, rebooting the router and the ATA would have restored the route when the...

unable to register
I am curious, my SPA941 phone has been working for a long time, without any issues. Then almost out of no where, with no changes to anything, internet, router, phone, nothing, it just stopped working. My whistle-phone was working just fine without any issues through all of this. I tried making some ...

Re: Nortel/AVAY 1140e configuration
Didn't work, can still make outbound only calls. It's either that the phone fails to truly login (not true, it does login successfully as you can't make calls without it), or the service will never run on this phone. I think I read somewhere that SIP version 3.2 came out for this phone, I am going t...

Re: Nortel/AVAY 1140e configuration
all of that is true, I think. from what I am reading, a lot of people have somewhat experianced this on other devices, until making a change. Now, the re registration is something I can't change to anything smaller than 60 minutes, which is within the allowed time according to the SIP settings. It's...

Re: Nortel/AVAY 1140e configuration
thanks... I guess... Anyone able to provide some actual help? I read on some forums that this phone doesn't support re-registration, and that will result in simply only being able to make outgoing calls. However, if this theory is true, I should be able to receive a phone call as soon as the phone l...

Nortel/AVAY 1140e configuration
So I am playing around with a Nortel 1140e phone with SIP firmware (3.0) on it. I have plunked in the server, codec, user and password settings, and I can login, and can make phone calls even. However, I cannot receive phone calls. I am behind a linksys router, in a DMZ, eliminating a firewall issue...
