Re: List of area codes/prefixes free to call
I'm trying to avoid having to dial something extra, but it's certainly the fall-back option.

Re: List of area codes/prefixes free to call
Thanks again. I'll test my outbound routing tonight. It should be fairly easy to keep it up to date now that Fongo provides a list. Edit: Well, it turns out I have a 64kb limit on my dial plan, so this list is too big. I'll probably keep the entries I use most often, and setup an automatic query on ...

Re: List of area codes/prefixes free to call
I attached a current list in text format, one NPANXX per line. Obtained from http://www.freephoneline.ca/completeList?country=CANADA Perfect! That's just what I was looking for, thanks! BTW, are the NPA-NXX numbers without an indicated city valid (perhaps these are currently unassigned)? I noticed ...

Re: List of area codes/prefixes free to call
I know this is an old thread, but is there anyway to get an updated list? The link is now broken. I'd like to use the list to implement outbound routing.

Can 't receive calls
After months with no problems, I've recently begun experiencing issues. I can make calls, but not receive them. I can see that I'm registered from both the PBX, and freephoneline status. Incoming calls show up on the freephoneline call logs, but not the logs on my PBX. I'm registered to voip.freepho...

Re: VoIP unlock code - connection to PBX
The problem with pbxes is not FPL. Pbxes has decided not to support them on free accounts anymore.

I think this is system wide. It's been down since about 6:30EDT. Even the unavailable call forward isn't working.

Re: Easing Call Follow Me restrictions
Does CID get passed through if you do it that way? Or will you see the first forwarded FPL/DV number?

Re: VoIP unlock, Freephonca, and a single account?
That's easy... Just set up call forwarding from the website. Many people do this to get a phone number in a different city. You can only do it once though, as the forward number can only be used by one account.Amowagou wrote: Does that mean I can forward an incoming call to another number?

Re: voice mail greeting issue / PBXes issue
Make sure you have nothing else trying to register with your Dell voice credentials. That includes the iPhone/android app. You need to use another SIP app and register using a pbxes extension instead. Only the last device to register would receive an incoming call otherwise. If you are using pbxes a...

Re: Voice Mail and Dial tone issue
I think that tone is the message waiting tone. It just means you have voice mail. It takes several minutes after you check your messages for that to clear.

Re: VoIP unlock, Freephonca, and a single account?
Are you sure that it's only one incoming? Call waiting would require 2. It's probably 2 in and 2 out.

Re: SIP Account on two devices
Setup a ring group in pbxes. On inbound routing, have it go to the ring group instead of just the extension. Both phones will ring. The first one to answer will take the call. Each device should be registered to its own extension.

Re: cSipSimple configuration settings? *HELP*
Bridonca, I meant "free" service instead of "fee". Registration support is of course available to paying customers. Other free options are pbxes.org and sipsorcery.com. Sipsorcery is for advanced users, but pbxes.org is relatively simple to use. There are some usage limits to be ...

Re: cSipSimple configuration settings? *HELP*
You need to enable NAT. Also try forwarding ports 10001-20000, in addition to 5060 to your device in your router. This assumes you are on wifi.
BTW, Voxalot does not support provider registration (which fpl requires) in it's fee service.

Re: Forward to a sip url
I think this would be a great idea. It could be restricted to those purchasing config files to prevent abuse. Come to think of it, I imagine that it would be necessary to do so to prevent abuse.
And supporting sip reinvites (audio bypass) would be an extra bonus!

Re: Call Forward When Power/Internet Is Out
I was about to post this suggestion myself. It would be great if call forward unavailable was separately configurable from call forward no answer. I'd rather have voice mail pick up when I don't answer, but if it's down, I want to ring straight through to the cell phone.

Re: NPA-NPX Calling List - Free Calling Destinations
Thanks Jake, I agree, it would take a bit of work to figure out an efficient dial plan. For now, I'll use the 4-digit list. Anything not reachable, I can redial with a different prefix to force the call into a different route, or customize the dial plan further to re-route these numbers. Thanks again!

Re: NPA-NPX Calling List - Free Calling Destinations
I don't know if it's too much to ask, but if this could be available in an Asterisk-style dialplan, it would be a great way to make an outbound route for FPL!
For example
20425XXXXX would match a bunch of Winnipeg DIDs.
