Re: freephoneline subscriber sip uri
So even a subscriber who purchased sip settings could not be reached via his number@voip.freephoneline.ca! That's a biggie, no e164,org for FPL users! But softphones and ata registered at FPL somehow have to communicate between each other without going outside of Fibernetics network, so there should...

freephoneline subscriber sip uri
Hi
I was wondering if it's possible to reach a freephoneline number (whether a subscriber has purchased sip settings or not)
using sip uri, something like number@voip.freephoneline.ca?

Re: Follow me to call ATA and follow # simultaneously
Hi Steve,
Did you mean make 'note' or NOT ?
Any chance to quickly check if this feature can or approved to be implemented at all?

Follow me to call ATA and follow # simultaneously
I was wondering if it's possible to add third mode to Follow-Me feature,
you can call it 'All' so it rings ATA and followme numbers simultaneously, making
them a call group if you wish.
That feature would really make me stick with FPL.

SIP settings have to be bought from Customer Service
Hi
I just spoke with customer service on the phone, and they told me that I have to buy SIP configuration by phone,
not online.
But there is an option to buy it online on FPL site?
Was the agent just trying to earn a commission?

VM *98 from softphone error
Hi When I am trying to access VM from Softphone http://www.freephoneline.ca/faq#36 I get 'The number is invalid" error message. I was wondering if I have sip settings and dial *98 would I get the same error? Dialing local VM access works but it seems inefficient and requires typing phone # and ...

Re: PBX. How to?
Hi Jake
so you are using PBXes.org free account or run your own asterisk server?
How is the reliability of FPL on inbound calls?
I have a GV account with Canadian forwarding # also, and would rather use it for outbound calls, don't see how without getting sipsourcery account, which is hard to get.

Re: PBX. How to?
Hi bridonca, As my land line provider increased basic phone line rate, I'm in a process of switching to a new one. I am not using Telus yet at the moment, but I know some people on redflagdeals are using it with either voip.ms or FPL+ pbxes.org I was hoping to use it with pbxes.org too, without setti...

Re: Caller ID
I was curious if just forward my FPL number using FPL Follow Me feature, what number would be passed as CID?
Original caller or my own FPL number?
(Right now for non-paid account it shows original caller's CID, which is not good for unlimited to one # cell phone plan)

Re: PBX. How to?
Thanks bridonca. Is it official information about about three trunks for paid users, confirmed on FPL site? In my cellphone plan all traffic has to come to and from the same number, so FPL forwarding would not work, since random source phone #. In CallerID thread, i was told that FPL does not suppor...

simultaneous calls
I was wondering if FPL supports multiple simultaneous calls using the same account? In my setup on PBXes I hope to use FPL as an incoming DID and then forward a call to my cell using FPL, and for outgoing calls access pbxes via sipbroker and then use FPL for PSTN termination. The problem is that if ...

Re: set Caller ID
I was wondering if use SIP config setting for PAP2 or pbxes.org can I set my caller ID?
Voip.ms allows to do this and I can't decide between FPL and them, since I need it for my cellphone plan
when all calls should come from the same number.
