I have the same issue. Tested on my smart phone and two home computers.
So, YES...FPL site is COMPROMISED.

Re: This account is already in use

Hello,

please, be advised that error cleared itself overnight. However, I did cold reboot two times, but that was rather quick. Definitely, not an issue anymore. As always, thank you FPL support and community.

appreciated,

Zoro

This account is already in use

Hello,

I've been using FPL for few years. Have VoIP adapter with SIP key. All of a sudden tonight, I've started getting message: "this account is already in use".

What is going on?

My home phone is useless at the moment. Did reboot, but no help.

Thanks

Long Distance Calls

Hello gurus 8-) I have ROGERS cell phone with Canada wide free calling plan. Does anyone know, if I am going to pay for long distance, if I call FPL number (e.g. 403) which is in Europe? ROGERS agent told me that as long as destination Canadian number is within Canada, no charges will occur. If call...

Re: dropped call after 30-32 seconds

OK, these are my findings: 1) SIP ALG on HG8245 has to be ON. Otherwise, only calling party can hear other side, while called party won't hear anything. 2) Enabled "Port Trigger Forwarding" for the above mentioned UDP port ranges and all inbound and outbound calls work. Used Port Trigger i...

Re: dropped call after 30-32 seconds

One thing to add... Post you've put here viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8108 is for ATA device. I am talking about Fongo soft phone. So, it's active only when PC is on. Having said that, even if I do port forwarding to an IP address of the PC inside LAN, as long as PC is OFF, call signaling won't be worki...

Re: dropped call after 30-32 seconds

I have some finding to share with users here. I am using Huawei HG8245 Router and I have setup Port Range Trigger (not forwarding) to a known ports: 5060-5061 UDP, 6060-6061 UDP and 13000-13001 UDP. I don't have a problem calling this FPL number from outside, neither calling landlines outbound from ...

Re: dropped call after 30-32 seconds

I have the same problem with new application. With old one, it was working just fine. Inbound calls are OK. And yes, it happens after 30-32 sec after outbound call was made. Even tried port forwarding, but the same. seems to be application issue, as other users reported here. P.S. Sometimes, even ou...

Re: SIP Failover

1) I have one addition to this. Just played with emulator settings for PAP2T-NA and as per my understanding, this would be the way to enable SIP redundancy from PAP2T perspective (see attachment 1). Can someone from FPL confirm, if this would provide SIP redundancy from user's perspective? 2) As per...

SIP Failover

Hello everyone, Since I've received e-mail from FPL about changes that need to be done by March 30th, I have a question. I am using PAP2T-NA and according no FPL e-mail, Primary SIP server "must" be voip.freephoneline.ca which is my current and secondary SIP server needs to be set to: voip...

Re: Ongoing FPL issue

Unfortunately, it was to early to say that the issue has been fixed. It seems not, as after coming home, around 6.05 PM, I've noticed green light on my ATA was off and then suddenly around 6.25 PM, I've received incoming call. All lights were green at that time. I can't say since when light was off,...

Re: Ongoing FPL issue

I don't know, if FPL engineers did anything since I had reported an issue, but for the last few days, if not a week, I haven't noticed any problems.

Let's hope it's OK.

Thanks,

Zoro

Ongoing FPL issue

Dear FPL technical staff, do you need help, as it appears that you guys can't find the glitch? I don't need to say how much frustration this has brought to FPL users, but interesting thing is that you've been kept quiet and this is the mystery to all of us. Your president's e-mail from 2-3 weeks bac...

Re: FPL and Alarm

You should have talked to alarm company, or search Google before making decision, as no alarm company as I know of will support over VoIP phone. FPL is not excemtion to it. Simply, every alarm company will tell you "VoIP not supported". Therefore, if you have 3G as fail over solution with ...
