Diverting selected phone # to VM

Is there anyway to divert selected phone # to VM? I'm using Obi200 as the ATA.

Thanks.

Is FPL service down?

There is no line on my home phone. The Registration State: of my ATA is "Can't connect to login server"

It has been more than an hour. I've turned ON/Off the ATA couple of times but still cannot connect to the server.

Anyone having this issues?

Re: Is fongo service down????

Have issues with my phone too for the last couple of days. The service keeps on disconnecting. What I did was to disconnect the power from the ATA and re-plug in again for a couple of time until I see 3 lights blinking (using Pap2T). All these while, the connection was ok. Is there anything to do wi...

I'm having "Can't connect to login server" error message too. I've been scraching my head for the last 10 minutes by rebooting the router and plucking/unplucking the ATA until I see this thread.

Cannot make long distance call

I've purchase credit of $5 for my FPL. When I tried to make an international call, I'm getting message "end". The # I was calling was like 011 followed by 11 digits. (Eg. 01112345678901) Can anyone please help me? Is the code entered is correct (Ie. 011 followed by my 11 digits?) The follo...

Re: Is it possible to Block a Tel. Number (INCOMING Calls)?

Yes, I'm referring to Linksys PAP2T. I believe most of Linksys ATA can be configure via "User1" or "User2" tabs for the "Call Blocking" or rather "Call Forwarding". What I did was to check from my Calls Logs to identified the "unknown #" and then ent...

Re: Clarification: what are you asking?

Hello, I mean #2: Blocking (or disallowing) INCOMING calls from certain numbers (I just made some chage in my main post to make my question more clear). Sometimes there are computerized advertizing calls (or faxes) that are very annoying (and mostly you cannot speak to anyone), and you cannot stop ...

Re: What settings for supplementary service section

cu2o2o2, How can I "block" numbers selectively? At which tab can I enter those # to pap2t? Thanks. Yay, somebody got interested! Enter them on the User 1 tab, assuming you enabled your FPL number on Line 1 tab (use User 2 tab if your FPL is enabled on Line 2). On the Selective Call ...

Re: What settings for supplementary service section

 BTW on your PAP2T, you can even "block" numbers selectively...if you are willing to do some work. I have "blocked" telepests (including the local politicians' numbers). The reason why block/ed are in quotes is that "blocked" calls are automatically forwarded to ...

Re: Porting from Rogers with contract

Thanks for your explanation bridonca. I thing I'm confuse here. Once I call Rogers (say on 19th) and then on 21st start the porting process with FreePhoneLine, don't Rogers "refuse to let the phone# being ported"? I read somewhere from other forums saying not to inform "your current p...

Re: Porting from Rogers with contract

I think I'm confuse here. Timelines (contract end date) = Sep 20, 2011 Scenario1 - Cancelling "Within" the contract period 1) Eg Call Rogers to cancel on Oct 24, 2011 (assuming I submit porting request to FPL on Oct 19) - Pay cancellation fee + 1 month notice (officially the phone service ...

Re: Porting from Rogers with contract

I still have to pay for the Early Cancellation Fee (ECF) to Rogers (which is $20 for remaining 1 month) + 1 month notice if I cancel it now. If I follow my earlier plan, I've to pay $23 monthly fee + 1 month notice. I'll still save $3 if I do it early. :) Below are part Terms and Conditions from Rog...

Re: Porting from Rogers with contract

To be on the safe side, I think I'll start initiate the porting process after the contract date (about 1 month from now). Technically, if I initiate the porting process now, it's considered cancelling my current service with Rogers immediately (correct me if I'm wrong) and which is still within the ...

Re: Unable to call using Phone card

Hi Jake, You are awesome!! Managed to call using the calling card. What I did was, just changed the "Preferred Codec:" to G711u. Just for record purposes. I did some testing based on your suggestions. 1. Softphone works. Can use Calling card to call. (Codec = G729a or G711u) 2. not working...
