Re: using my linksys ata in USA

Haven't had a problem using them while being overseas. Might be the ISP or router messing with VOIP.

Re: newbie please help

The first thing to do would be to get a list of the ports you need for freephoneline:
From what I gather that is 5060, 13000-13001

Then go to portforward.com and select your router and allow it to show you how to forward those ports. You will need the ip of the ATA that your router has assigned it.

Re: I need TONS of help. How can I use FPL behind 2 routers?

Double NAT is going to cause a lot of problems unless you can put your second router into the DMZ of the first one. Since you don't have access to it I guess that won't help. I have one of these for one of my "throw" around ATAs -http://www.voipsupply.ie/products/Linksys-WBP54G-Wireless-G-...

Re: Impossible to register(First Timer !)

Problem is most like a port issue. I noticed when trying to configure my voip devices to Freephoneline, it really has to use port 5060, otherwise it won't work. What I suggest you try is to change your other voip providers to other ports (5062,5063) etc. and keep freephoneline @ 5060. Then forward p...

Re: Avaya G250 PBX/Gateway - Sip Trunking

I have our service here working in the office with a Snom m3 SIP/PBX Phone, it works great, audio quality is good for the amount of wireless phones and networks we have in the building. I would think it would be fine. Admin, Any chance you cost post the settings for that? I have an m3 lying around ...

Re: is the $50 a 1 time fee or 1 time every year?

When the fee is phased in, would it be possible for those who do not need e911 service to opt out of it, thereby avoiding the fee?

Re: Choppy sound both on incoming and outgoing calls

Admin, Once again thanks for taking the time to answer all our questions and provide us with support. This choppy call issue has been going on all weekend, and I've tried everything on my end (including trying someone else's internet) is it a known issue, and if so do we have a possible ETA on a fix...

Re: Choppy sound both on incoming and outgoing calls

If nothing has been changed on your end, it could be freephoneline as myself and a few others have noticed some choppy sounding voice in the last few days too.

Outbound is a problem today for a couple of people. Might be freephoneline.

Re: Dropped Packets

I'm noticing the same problem too. Incoming calls, sound fine. But on outgoing calls the person I'm calling sounds a bit choppy. No changes on my end. Tested with a back up voip provider, and there weren't any problems.
