Re: incoming calls goes to VM rightaway
I'm having the exact same problems...going straight to VM. I've rebooted the modem and I thought that had fixed it, but no, still calls are not getting through. Strange thing is that on occasion some calls will come through, while others will not. This issue started on Jan 29th only after jeez more ...

How to set up! - Wanting to port a 2nd (maybe a 3rd) #
Hi all, was looking for some advice to set up FPL/Fongo home phone for faxing... We currently already have one line with FPL for about a year that we have been very very happy with aside from a bit of downtime and an issue where I had to reset my ATA (PAP2). My dad is an accountant who only works fr...

Experiencing a strange problem
Hi, looking for some help with my FPL service. I've been using the service for roughly a year. In the last 2-4 weeks or so, we've been experiencing a problem where when we receive an incoming call, the first time we receive a call from that number, we cannot hear the person on the other line, but th...

Re: Service problems: Long distance calling issues
I have found my password...I think accidentally yesterday I changed the password thinking it should be the same as my FPL profile password.
In any event, all is well.
Thanks for the advice all.

Re: Service problems: Long distance calling issues
Do local calls work? That error is usually received when trying to register to the SIP server with a mis-matched username/password combination. Hi Steve, I have just noticed that local calls arent working either. I assume that I would change this in the adapter settings. However, I cant recall wher...

Re: Service problems: Long distance calling issues
Thing is, as part of attempting to fix yesterdays downtime (before realizing today that it was an FPL side error), I did try that with no luck. My dad works via the home office, so at the moment cannot really try powering everything down, but I will atempt this tonight. However, I get the feeling it...

[RESOLVED] Service problems: Long distance calling issues
Hello all, Yesterdays service interuption notwithstanding, since about Wed or Thurs, we have had trouble with making long distance calls. I checked our account which seems to have about 1.50 balance, so that shouldnt be the issue. I just tried making a call, and got a message: 'That password is not ...

Not being charged the right long distance rates?
I've had a couple of calls where we were charged more than the rates stated on the website: 19052****** 922134****** 04:00 11.12.11 11:04:32 11.12.11 11:08:32 Normal call clearing Karachi $ 0.36 Normal rate should be 8 cents per minute - so $ 0.32. Also twice for Texas: 19052****** 12813****** 05:00...

Want to sign up - port after?
Hi all,
I'd like to sign up for a FPL and start to get it set up at my home. However, I have a phone number I absolutely have to keep. Can I sign up and start to set things up and then have the number ported in for me?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Adeel
