Using Fongo on my Android phone for a while. Today I got message "call can not be completed, you do not have an active Fongo Connection".

I think the issue is only related to Asterisk. Not for software or ATA. I guess FPL is blocking Asterisk. Anybody experience the same problem with ATA? They do block the Asterisk useragent, but that is easily got around. I had trouble with my Elastix PBX yesterday where one line was working perfect...

Simply put, our service does not support non-Canadian IP addresses at this time. I'm not sure if there is a plan to have extended/international IP support but regardless there is none at this time. That is very difficult to do since we have 911 service which NEEDS your residence on file so 911 can actually find you. If you can get your ATA to work in another country, awesome.
