I've noticed for a while the link to this forum on the freephoneline.ca site is broken. The forum button goes to: http://forum.freephoneline.ca/ but is no longer valid. It should be redirected as currently "nothing to see here" is the only thing shown.

Sadly, I have tried changing these servers.. voip2.freephoneline.ca AND voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 No change. Worked fine this morning but as of 11:30 am, issue happened again. No incoming calls.

Update: 12:23AM Sept 4 2020

It appears the issue is resolved... suddenly with no changes on my end or my parents, both are now getting incoming calls again.

Hopefully this remains fixed.

Outgoing calls are no issue... incoming seems to be the big issue.. I can't even get calls between FPL to go through... they all go to voice mail. Odd... I guess I never noticed it before today.... Because based on the note at the bottom of the setup page, this should only be forwarded IF the ATA is offline... but it's doing it when the ATA is online instead of going to voice mail. I would love to see a call filtering/blocking option added to help block some numbers which don't get the message when you ask them to never call again.

As well, it would be nice to see the option to disable voicemail as mentioned in another thread.

I would rather they just show the number with no name if that's how it shows..

I would like to see some hole fill in, in southern ontario.. A good example is back in my parents area near Goderich, Ontario.... One POP could cover a very wide area.. If a pop for numbers was added in Clinton or Goderich, you would get almost all of Huron County currently NOT in local calling area...

Ever since the upgrade, at times on incoming calls, the caller gets a fast busy... Outbound, I can get my voicemail at all times, but no calls can be made that fall outside the freephone network.

I have 3 SIP accounts all are the same..

I can tell you freephoneline supports fax.. I've used it with my fax machine/all in one for a while without issues.

I've worked in Telemarketing and if they keep calling, for sales reasons, it's telemarketing. Don't avoid picking up... They will keep calling.. Pick up and simply say.. "I'M NOT INTERESTED, PLEASE TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST, and STOP CALLING MY NUMBER" Legally they are required to STOP CALLING...

Sorry to cross post this, but as a suggestion, I would like to see an option for G729 come back. The system only allows heavy bandwidth using G711 currently, where it use to support both.

Other than that, I've had great luck with the service really...
