You could also connect it to your laptop and enable ICS on the wireless connection.

it's possible that rogers is filtering your connection due to P2P even when you're not using it. Some VOIP packets get caught in the process.

Are you using any P2P file sharing programs?
I had problems with VOIP when I was on rogers, they suck.

Faxing works fine if you are not sending too many pages. If you are, you may get an error.
Using default settings on PAP2 v1 & fax machine.
Don't think FPL supports T.38, just use G711 and you'll be fine.
Also don't use your internet for anything else while faxing.

You can reduce the decode latency by using G711 codec (assuming you're using G729 now).
