Thanks Mango. I did this and in each case all I got was silence. No fast busy this time, at least after a minute (I gave up waiting at 60 seconds)

I am using Linksys SPA 2102 ATA Local calls go through fine but long distance calls 1xxxxxxxxxx do not - eventually they go to the reorder (fast busy) tone - I tried calls to numbers in Haliburton, ON (1-705-448-xxxx) and Vancouver, BC (1-604-875-xxxx) - both these cities are listed as being served ...
