Re: Incoming/outgoing calls not working at times
I haven't had this in a few weeks, but is it possible it's "switching issue congestion"? Check your call logs. Sometimes I get this issue, I will dial a number, and it doesn't go through... I check the call logs later, and this is printed under the "disconnect reason". Obviously ...

I want to port a number into FPL, where did you get the LOA form??
I can't find the phone number for customer support anymore, it seems to be e-mail only. I sent an e-mail yesterday and no one has yet replied.

Re: can not hear
This was my topic, same issue http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?t=5826 The problem was Fongo/FPL is incompatible with SIPalg, while every other provider I used works with SIPalg. So to accommodate fongo, I had to disable it. Later, because I need to access fongo from two devices (my cell phone &a...

Re: Possible service interruption for some users Dec 19th, 2
Why is the register expires being set to 2 hours? That's a crazy amount of time, my snom m9 hardware client won't accept 7200s as a value even if the server "forces", it's 3600s max.

Re: can not hear
If your router has a feature called "SIP helper" or "ALG" try to disable it, I had this issue when I was new and that seemed to fix it for me

Re: Phone line completely DEAD
I can make and receive calls fine now, I'm using 208.65.240.142 with 120s expiry but server overrides to 3600s. I don't use fongo's vm or fwd so I dunno about those. 12:06am EST

Re: Phone line completely DEAD
Competely down here. I noticed that the IP for the server changed to 208.65.240.44 sometime today. Rebooted the ATA in case it cached the old IP but no luck. Does the IP change often? I have these in my logs: 208.65.240.44 (what currently resolves for sip.fongo.com/sip.freephonline.ca) 208.65.240.1...

Re: Connect more than 1 SIP device?
Yes I paid for a SIP unlock key. Thanks for pointing that out. I added freephoneline as a trunk on pbxes.org and created a ring group with 2 extensions (1 for each device). Cheers.

Connect more than 1 SIP device?
Is it possible to connect more than 1 SIP device? My cell phone is set up, but I also want my home phone to ring. If I log both devices into the service at once, only the last connected device rings. Are there any solutions except forwarding (in this case there is no other # available to forward to)

Re: Can't hear caller on FPL outgoing calls
What's fongo doing that's different? Some providers run devices to help with NAT traversal but many do not. I have not come across your router before but it appears to have a version of SIPalg often also known as SIP helper. The SIP helper might be what is causing the problem. Try turning it off I ...

Re: Can't hear caller on FPL outgoing calls
I can't forward ports on my carrier's mobile network. And my home router has an auto SIP helper enabled, it's supposed to work without manual forwarding. Like I was saying, other 2 providers work perfectly fine. What's fongo doing that's different? Is FPL's RTP known to randomly break on outgoing ca...

Re: Can't hear caller on FPL outgoing calls
1) there a way to reset the SIP password?
2) if the answer above is yes, is anyone willing to try my credentials from your setup?
thanks

Can't hear caller on FPL outgoing calls
Hi guys, I signed up last night and I have a problem. If I make outgoing calls, I can not hear the other caller, but they can hear me i.e. outgoing audio is broken. For incoming calls to FPL, both callers hear each other so the incoming/outgoing audio works fine. I tied several SIP clients: - snom m...
