Re: incoming calls not working
Similar issue here. But in my case some numbers can call and other cannot. EDIT : Outgoing call works fine. Incoming not so. I sure hope we get some answer from Fongo otherwise i'll be moving to another voip provider. It's nice to have a free phone line but when you don't get any support that's a pr...

Re: Problem with anonymous calls
problem is that it's intermittent and not constant. Sometimes the call is able to pass through and sometime the call is rejected after 6 -15 seconds event though the phone is not ringing. I'm kind of reluctant to use the ATA without obitalk because I had several problems before using the online port...

Re: Unsollicited calls from the GTA
I'm going to try it right now. It might be a couples of hours before I get back to you as thses calls are only happening in the evening ( EST )
Thanks for the fast reply.
PS: Since the AccessList option in my obi in not set by default wouldn't that allow sip scanners to pickup my ATA ?

Re: Weird incoming call SIP spammers ?
I saw it yesterday evening. I did not know it could interfere. I have just power cycled my obi but yesterday evening I aslo added FPL IPs to my X_AccessList of my ATA just in case. I just hope they don't change too often.

Re: Odd behavior - Busy tone then ok
1. When I dial *98 I get a high pitch tone. I have a obi 202 and *98 is used to do a blind transfer. 2. I don't know anyone with at FPL or fongo number so i cannot test that and I'm not willing to blindly call someone I don't know. 3. It really happens for times to times I cannot put a pattern on th...

Re: after dialing nothing.
it's hard to tell what is the problem. You might need to forward some ports on your router. See here on how to : http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... ndex.htm#A
You select your router company then the model and after that you select the service in this case Freephoneline.ca

Re: Incoming Calls are down?
Incoming call seems to be down here too 819. I cannot receive any calls. The IP address of voip.freephoneline.ca has changed. I updated my X_AccessList but the problem is not fixed.
I switched to voip2.freephoneline.ca which seems to be working.

you can also simply use the X_AccessList in the obi202. Just add the 2 ip address of FPL. I have fixed that problem that way.

As a computer tech I wouldn't recommend lowering the firewall security. It's a personnal hazard to do that. You risk being attacked or getting all sorts of troubles.
