Two Fongo ATAs on the same network?
Is it possible to have two Fongo Home Phone ATAs connected to the same router/dsl? Can they both be used for calling at the same time? Or will one scoop the ports leaving nothing for the other? Thanks, David.

This issue has resurfaced now in 2013. I thought we had it licked, but now calls to the only number we ever call in the US is troublesome again. Lack of connecting, or cutting off during the call. Thanks Steve, maybe it could be an option for users... 8kbps mp3 for data connections and something more robust for people who are downloading at home/wifi.

NAT problem! add a crappy router to the mix. I will tell you what happened. Good guesses, though not applicable with my network setup. It does not appear to be a NAT/router issue. During a long distance call to the US, our call was disconnected (to a fast busy) at exactly 60 minutes into the call. Is that weird?

Possible to use Fongo Home Phone on Fongo App?
Just wondering if it's possible to log into the Fongo App (iOS) using my Fongo Home Phone account? That would let me dial out from my home number no matter where I am (without bringing the ATA along with me and finding an ethernet port). If not possible, is there a reason for the restriction? Even just upping the compression rate to 16 kbps would provide a much better experience. Since the messages are sent as attachments to my email -- not stored on Fongo's server -- there shouldn't be a storage issue.

Outgoing Call Display doesn't work to US numbers
Just found out that our outdoing call display doesn't work to US numbers. Within Canada, our names appear, but to the US the person receiving the call just sees "Private Name." How do we fix that? Our old POTS line always showed our name correctly no matter where we called.

Hi all. I have my Fongo account set up to send voicemail messages to my email account. When they arrive, the messages are 8kbps MP3 files that sound terrible. Far worse than the phone line itself. So much so that it can be very difficult to make out what the caller is saying if they are not speaking...

I've tested this ATA connected directly to the modem with the router and rest of my network disconnected and PCM still wasn't perfect. I suppose it doesn't matter now that it appears to be working well.

I have tried that test a number of times, it says my DSL should support PCM without trouble, but it just doesn't appear to be the case. G729 is working very well for us! Too bad it took 6 weeks of frustration to figure this out.
