OH. OK. Are their future plans to have a DID footprint in Manitoba? ETA perhaps? Or is having a DID footprint in Manitoba not a foreseeable option?
Thanks Fongo Mike!

Phone numbers that can be ported to the Fongo network
I've look at this list and noticed NO Manitoba numbers can be ported to your service.
Is there a reason why? Is there anything we can do as consumers to be able to do this? Calls to CRTC perhaps?
Thoughts?

Re: Fongo and the new iOS
Thanks for the reply Jake. I really don't have much on this phone other than the flashlight app, IMDB app and Shazaam app. It's pretty bare bones. I guess I shall give it a try. I guess the other thing I was concerned about what battery consumption. If they new iOS7 uses more battery consumption tha...

Fongo and the new iOS
Hello all, As you know Fongo is one of THE best VOIP products out there. From time to time there will be bugs but that's when Fongo does their best to fix them with updates. As you also may know, Apple has updated their iOS recently and I was wondering how folks are finding how Fongo works with the ...

Re: How to keep Fongo Active to receive calls?
Never thought of that. Thanks Jake!!! Will give it a try.
EDIT: Actually the Push Notification was already on. Go figure. Not worried about saving battery power. My iPhone 4 was always good on battery power.
Any other thoughts?

How to keep Fongo Active to receive calls?
Well, as I explained in the past, this is how I have my Fongo account set up. I have an iPhone 4, deactivated from Rogers. Does NOT have a SIM card in it. I only have 2 apps on the iphone with NOTHING else. Fongo App and Flashlight App. I have Wifi turned on. Using my home Broadband 50 wireless rout...

Re: Freephoneline Set Up Question....
That's brilliant! Quick question though about the Call Forwarding aka Follow Me option..... does it show up as a "Regular Call" as if they were calling you directly to that number or does it show up as "Forwarded From (your number)" Hope that question made sense.

Freephoneline Set Up Question....
So, this is what I was thinking. Download the FreePhoneLine program for the PC. Here's the part where I need veterans of FPL to see if my idea would work. 1. Insert USB blue tooth dongle into USB port on computer. 2. Purchase the Panasonic KXTG7733S with Blue Tooth ability. Set up the Panasonic phon...

Re: iphone app?
Jake's right. I can tell you this. I have a deactivated iPhone 4 and downloaded JUST the Fongo app on it and I love it! I've even brought it out of province and used it via wifi. The iPhone app is awesome! JMO.

Re: No Winnipeg 204 numbers
I agree. Being from Winnipeg it would have been nice to get a Winnipeg number. However with that being said, Fongo can not be blamed for this. CTRC regulates so many numbers out there and most were gobbled up by MTS and Shaw. Now, here's some good news, and I'm sure Fongo is ready to pounce! Sometim...

Re: Where are you using Dell Voice?
I'm from Winnipeg and have a Vancouver number. I brought my iPhone 4 loaded with Fongo and used it in Thunder Bay Ontario using local wifi. Worked great with no problems.

Seriously? Seagame2001, as I appreciate you are a volunteer and not a payed employee of Fongo, you clearly do not the proper skills to respond to a simple suggestion. My suggestion was plain as day and could be understood by a child. Please allow me to "volunteer" the answer you should hav...

Funkytown, It seems you missed out on seagame2001's first reply. It made no sense at all. Even tbrummell was confused by the response. (BTW, thanks tbrummell). Now since seagame2001 has editing resources here as a MOD, he changed his comment to what is there now and erased my response. Well Funkytow...

I and probably many others would find it extremely helpful to see an online list of what area codes and prefixes are available for their area. I hate using these "people" as an example but .... http://www.magicjack.com/action/areacodes?inpArea=&selCountry=CANADA&inpCountry=CANADA&a...

Area Code 431 (Manitoba)
Hello,
I'm somewhat a new user with Dell Voice a.k.a. Fongo and so far, it's been great. I live in Manitoba and have a Vancouver number, odd but it works.
So my question is, when will the new area code be available to Fongo Free Phone Line members? Any ETA?
Thank you for your time.
Bohannan
