Preferred codex only is set to NO ATA is new...bought on ebay, but from a seller in Canada. If it is defective, that would be a problem....I am starting to wonder. I did move the ATA to a different location in the house....new plug. Makes no difference.
I also forwared the ports on the modem 5060-6060 and 10000-20000
I cannot seem to solve the issues.

Please HELP I have moved the ATA....still hearing a hum in the background I have added the stun.callwithus.com in the STUN server box. I will move the ATA immediately.
I did not use any STUN server as I did not know there was one....I will try this too. Please check back so I can let you know how I made out.
