Re: dialing long thru local access number

Check through any and all settings for anything that relates to TOUCH TONES or DTMF tones. Note what your current settings are, change to something else, try the call again, see what happens. Note which settings work and which don't. The settings may be different for various numbers, depending on w...

I don't have a 2102 so I can't say where the setting is, but have a poke around in the ATA and find the DTMF tones setting and try a different type.
Thanks. Have no idea what to change

dialing long thru local access number

I am having a problem when dialing long distance. I use worldline and dial a local access number. This part works fine. However when I dail the 2nd number, I hear the touch tones but worldline doesn't appear to receive them. If I use the same phone on my bell line there is no problem. I am wondering...

Re: making ca

Thanks Jake I have spoke with them a few times but the deny that the problem lies with them. I have also heard they block ports also but do not know that for sure. I know they slow down the internet after downloading. I have tried a static ip and 3meg service but it made no difference. I really have...

Re: making calls

I suspect now it is my Ip provider. I use Xplornet wireless broadband. I also use freephoneline line on my iPhone and it works when connected to some wifi but not so good on 3G network. I have been experimenting over the last couple of days. Voyage will not work either with my home Internet.

Re: making calls

I have the ATA router before the home router so the port forwarding is not the problem. I believe it is something on freephoneline end

The problem is it is having trouble connecting with its host. Is there something I change on the router so it will...

I have a Lincsys SPA 2102 router and cant seem to get incoming calls. When someone calls the number they get the message that there is no service at this number. Outgoing calls work fine. If the router is reset, I can receive incoming calls for a bit (maybe an hour) then it goes back to the same thi...
