587 Area Code
I was wondering if anybody else was having issues with the 587 area code. One of my friends just got a new phone in Calgary and it was billed to my account as long distance. I am aware that 587 is new and is used through out all of Alberta, but I know for sure that this is a Calgary number. Does any...

Re: Linksys PAP2T-NA
This might be a stupid question, but is there a way to set up the PAP2T to ring to both ports. At the moment I can only seem to get it working on one port at a time. I seem to remember that you could make both ports work. I am looking to connect port 1 to a wired desk phone and port 2 for a cordless...

Re: Linksys PAP2T-NA
Is there any easy way for me to get both ports to work on the PAP2T. I want one phone number but I want it to ring to both ports, and allow either to pick up. I have a great cordless phone set, but you really can't beat the reliability of a good wired handset. I would like to know if it is possible ...

Re: Say Goodbye to Cell Phone Long Distance Charges Forever
After an update to 2.2 the app also lags the phone.
I can't really complain because it is free, but if it worked better I would use it more often.

Re: Mobile phones and VOIP
I am hoping that FPL will work well on TELUS because I was planning on adding it to my Galaxy S to supplement my calling plan. Although being a student I am extremely reluctant to spend the $50 on another line. Although I must say that FPL has been fantastic for me for the last 5 months for the line...

Re: Say Goodbye to Cell Phone Long Distance Charges Forever
The app works great on android, the only issue is that it looks terrible for the Galaxy S, I feel like the resolution is set incorrectly. Also everything is in landscape!

Re: Blackvoib on Blackberry
Perhaps you left your ATA plugged in? I once got FPL on my iPod touch for testing, but it only ever worked one time and from then on it could never connect.

Number of users on one account
Hey guys, I was just wondering if there was any limit to how many devices/how long I could have two devices with one SIP. I have purchased the file and I am using the PAP2 ATA. The voice quality is fantastic, but the calls always seem to drop around the 30 minute mark. I wanted to try to see if they...

Re: Number Change
I would happily pay $50/yr for a couple extra numbers that forward to my original account. So for the $58 I gain the ability to use dial into my original FPL account from other cities? Is there currently any access numbers for places like Edmonton and Vancouver? I looked at the VM access numbers and...

Re: Number Change
Yeah, the issue is that it could be abused. I was just looking for an easier way so that I don't have to delete the account everytime. I have no problem with doing so, but I feel like I am wasting resources. I was not looking to access my FPL voicemail, but rather my business voicemail. Sadly in thi...

Number Change
I tried to search this, but the search bar says that my terms are too common. I was wondering if it was possible to change numbers with FPL. Not only is FPL great for making calls, but if you were able to change your number between cities on the fly it would be amazing. I have an messaging system th...
