Re: No incoming calls when use G729a
Hmm, I just noticed that too. I think Fongo/FPL will only do G729 passthru. Which means if the call generate with G729, it will pass G729 to callee. On the otherhand, if you call from cellphone or PSTN which generate with ulaw or gsm, the call will pass ulaw to callee. Fongo please support new FREE ...

Port/transfer number from Fongo (Dellvoice) to FPL
Hi,
Is that possible to port or transfer number from dellvoice to FPL? Fongo charges monthly basis but I prefer one time fee with FPL.
Thanks,
Sukasem
Opps: I think I posted on wrong forum. It should be on Fongo App or FPL forum.

Does Dellvoice allow to use in small business?
Hi, I see now dellvoce/fongo charges monthly fee and one time fee. I'm wondering if DV is officially support business use. Before as FPL is not officially support but they are flexible on it as long as use not abuse. I have a small business now. I want to know for sure if it is legit to use since no...

Please allow call forward to another Fongo number
Hi, I know this has been post many times. I think this feature should be allowed for PAID customer (VOIP unlock key purchase). I'm thinking about porting 2 more numbers to Fongo but this feature blocked is stopping me to do so. Since I need to be able to forward call to other numbers when I'm not av...

Re: Follow-Me Improvements
They are now have simultaneous ring working but the problem is if cell phone is off or unavailable, the call will be picked up right away with voicemail or unavailable message. Here is how Asterisk/FreePBX solve this problem. They use option "confirm call". What it does is receiver has to ...

At this time we do not support caller ID blocking - we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. When might you start supporting it? I am sure I am not the only one who would like to use this important feature that most people are used to? :x  I have not heard of any plans in the near f...

Call forward to Skype
Hi,
It would be nice if fongo can forward incoming call to Skype. It could be long shot since a lot ppl request forwarding to SIP URI but not implemented yet.
May be only for VOIP unlock key purchase.
Cheers,
Sukasem

Dell voice down but fongo, I mean FPL, still fine.
I have config file from both fpl and dv but dv is not working(password not valid). Of course password is correct. It was working fine before.

Re: Porting number from Vbuzzer
Thank callopsitte_himself,
I still have 4 months left. I think I will port out in 2 months, just in case
I've been with Vbuzzer for a long time I think 5-6 years. Their service is going down hill. I was getting 2 channel but now only 1 channel. I can't see how they are going to survive.

Porting number from Vbuzzer
Hi,
I'm wondering if it's possible to port number from Vbuzzer.
Anyone did that before? I know it's possible for all the big companies but for small voip companies maybe not.
Thanks,
Sukasem

Re: SpeakOut and PetCanMob "UMB" users open letter to Fongo
Once more, Skype works well over 3G. I'm only asking Fongo to do with Dell Voice what Skype already does. Skype use port 80 so, it might get passed as browsing. But I don't think Skype works by default, you need AutoProxy right? But DellVoice use standard SIP port 5060 (I guess) so, it won't work w...

Oh, and incoming call on 3G is not reliable too.
A lot of ppl say they call me but no one pickup but my SIP phone won't ring.

Re: Use for outgoing calls setting
I have passed these suggestions along! I'm curious about how you say it's using a lot of data to remain connected to the server? I have an Android device where I've left it connected to the server for two days (haven't made any calls on this particular device) and I've only used 156kb of data. Two ...

Use for outgoing calls setting
Hi, It works great. I'm using Android platform. But when I select Use for outgoing calls in Preference, it will dial out thru Dellvoice without asking for other options. Re: Is this telemarketer use FPL numer?
Hi,
It's definitely against TOS. If it's use for small business, it should be OK but use the number to annoy ppl is unacceptable.
BTW, I didn't know the number can be ported out of FPL?
Thanks,
Sam

Is this telemarketer use FPL numer?
Hi,
I just got a call from 403-879-9828. It's debt consolidator.
Is this number belong to FPL?
I suspect that because I got same block 403-879-XXXX.
You better ban them.
Thanks,
Sukasem

Re: Skype FREETALK Connect Me Adapter
Hi Lily,
It's not worth it. I was trying to bridge SIP and Skype before. You better get a SIP ATA from Kijiji or something.
Then, plug RJ45 from ATA to FREETALK (PSTN Line).
Now, you have both phone line and Skype line.
Cheers,
Sukasem

Well, FPL's NPANXX is hardly updated. I don't know why they like to do manual update when user report. They should update every month or so. I did compile the list of NPANXX for Calgary and posted on this forum but they want me to tell them which one are not covered, not the whole list. I don't want...
