Re: Postal Code

Thank you have done that, hit edit and change postal code but still says invalid postal code. Freephoneline is not the only place that won't accept it.

Re: service down or just me :)?

I replaced the SPA112 with an OBI100 and everything works perfect. I have no idea why the SPA112 won't work but doesn't matter now. Thanks for the help.

Sounds a little like my issue, unable to call any toll free numbers, 800,866,888 etc. I don't have the same equipment except I do have a modem/router combo.

Can't Call Virgin Mobile Number

I am using freephoneline as my home phone, today I had my cell phone number ported from Telus to Virgin Mobile. I can not call my cell phone, I get the message 5UT1, the number you have called can not accept incoming calls.
Does anyone have any idea what happened, how to solve it? Thanks.

Problem has been solved, not sure how the sip settings got changed but Cfwd were set to forward all calls to voice mail. Does this make sense? Lines work great again.

I've recently upgraded my router to a WRTP54G, excellent router with 2 built in voip ports. It's been over 2 weeks now, no dropped calls, no loss of voice, excellent voice quality and No port forwarding. But I have another concern and not sure if its FPL or my router. When someone leaves voice mail ...

Re: Sound Cuts Out for Half a Second Randomly

I've had the sound cut out randomly since I purchased a second phone #. About a week ago I decided every time I made a call I would plug the ATA into the Cable modem and I don't get the trouble at all. I have tried to plug into the router with nothing else and the problem returns. I will post my inf...

Re: Sound Cuts Out for Half a Second Randomly

I have the same issue, voice cutting out. I am using Linksys PAP2T with Firmware Version: 3.1.15(LS)
I tried connecting straight to the cable modem and things seem to work perfect for almost an hour but today it started all over again.

Re: Incoming Audio Breaks Up

I have yet to get a good clear phone call with freephoneline. I've tried just about everything, last night I plugged the ATA into the cable modem and still the voice breaks up. Could it be the Linksys PAP2T adapter? Is there anyway of testing the adapter to see if it is functioning properly?

This is generally referred to as QoS (quality of service). Thank you for the advice now the hard part, How do I go about setti...
