That call should be free. Try dialing it with an area code in front of it also. If it still shows a charge, send a report please

Re: VOIP Unlock Key Purchase Error Message
The IP range you have might not be considered traditional CAN IP. Try power cycling your modem and router and try again. If your phone was on wifi, it would have had the same IP base range (although some of the octets would have been different, it would have still been in the same pocket.

Re: FPL using Grandstream HT702 interrupts
Another thing to check out would be the keep alive settings in your router (depending on how your modem and router are configured) I have seen a number of times where the router would "go to sleep" and disconnect the ATA.

Re: Getting "That password is not valid" on Softphone
You must have your usename or password entered wrong. There shouldn't be any reason why it wouldn't work. Things to check/look out for. 1. Your username is your FPL number WITH the initial 1. 2. Watch out for letters that look like numbers, and letters that look like other letters (o0O 1lI). I copy...

There isn o username with that device, just admin as the password. You may also notice an issue as the IP changes on the ATA and the path would then become invalid

This could be caused by a number of factors. How recently was your number ported? Are the people having issues calling you with the provider you ported your number from?

Re: How to block unwanted marketing fax
Hello, tere is no way to block them from trying to fax you. I would suggest calling the company calling you and telling them to remove you from their contacts list. You can also register on the national do not call registry

Re: New Features
I am sorry for my ignorant question - I am new to FPL and do not understand it completely. I have the VOIP homeline. Do I have access to a FPL app? Or a FPL computer program? Currently, I have set up a phone adapter and am running it as a regular VOIP line. These developments seem very promising. C...

Re: What happens if I take my ATA to location outside city l
It will work just as if you were still at home. You will be able to call all the same free areas. You number will stay the same no matter where you are in the world, and so what is 'local' for other people calling you will also stay the same. So for example if you have an Ottawa number people in Ot...

Or are the mobile and home phone accounts mutually exclusive? I also am wondering if I can sign up and t...

Re: Lost sound when using router
Make sure the correct ports are forwarded to the right IP. When you switch from wired to wireless your router may issue you with a new IP, so if you have it all set up on your old IP you may need to change it. This says it is for the ATA, but I think it applies to the softphone as well http://suppo...
