Re: no dialtone on SPA2102 despite being registered
I am sure they are open, but probably only for order pick up which most retailers are now doing. Question is whether they have in store stock. All you can do is give them a call, and they can tell you the availability of the item. Hope it works out for you and you can lets us know your success. Bein...

Re: no dialtone on SPA2102 despite being registered
Not sure if Teksavvy locks them but I would suspect they do. I see Wintronic Computers has the SPA122 for $49.99 new whether they have stock is another problem as well as not sure where you are located. Grand & Toy have Grandstreams 801 for $40 and 802 for $48.00. Again stock level not sure. My ...

Re: no dialtone on SPA2102 despite being registered
My experience with locked devices have been that if you were able to re-load firmware successfully and as soon as the device goes on the internet again, it reloads the firmware from the locked provider and basically making it again locked to that provider. I am not sure how you had been able to make...

Re: no dialtone on SPA2102
I would try to re-install the firmware on the device. Perhaps the firmware has gone bad, at least if you did that and you re-configured the device and if it doesn't work then there obviously is something else wrong with it. I have had in the past to re-install firmware on my SPA3102 before just to e...

All seems to be working for my device and 3 others that I help with, all sitting on the "voip.freephoneline.ca" again. Lets hope it holds out.

Re: No Incoming calls since today's morning
Further, since I have my SPA3102 on voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 or even on voip2.freephoneline.ca all is fine on incoming calls. I have 2 family members using a SPA2102 and Obi200, both are not accepting any inbound calls on a regular basis (they go to voicemail). I have changed the Obi200 over to v...

Re: No Incoming calls since today's morning
Well in my modem/router I do not have that availability as suggested in the Shaw Support Link. My device only has the 4 tabs on that window, no IP Pass Thru tab. Anyhow, I have played with it more, and whenever I go back to voip.freephoneline.ca setting, no incoming calls. I have now set it to the v...

Re: No Incoming calls since today's morning
I have had this modem/router now for 2 yrs and was skeptical whether it would work as such with Freephoneline, but it has until today. I know how to put it into Bridge mode but never had a need to do so. I will try later today or tomorrow to see if things change for me trying to use the voip server ...

Re: No Incoming calls since today's morning
My equipment is as stated in my profile. I have the SPA3102 and have had a SIP PORT setting within that range. I again rebooted, with the VOIP server, same results, no incoming calls, go directly to voicemail. I reverted back to the VOIP2 server and all works fine for incoming calls, so its unfortun...

Re: No Incoming calls since today's morning
I switched back to voip.freephoneline.ca server, rebooted proper order and I still experienced inbound calls going straight to voicemail. I reverted back to the voip2.freephoneline.ca server, rebooted in proper order..and inbound calls work fine. So guess I will wait a a while till things settle dow...

Re: No Incoming calls since today's morning
voip.freephoneline.ca does not work for incoming calls at the moment. Incoming calls will go straight to voicemail. voip2.freephoneline.ca and voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 work perfectly fine for both incoming and outgoing calls. Thanks for the update...guess wont know whenever it gets corrected, un...

Re: No Incoming calls since today's morning
I have same issue, incoming calls, some go to voicemail, then if you try again it rings. When it went directly to voicemail I tried with my Fongo phone app and it also went through to Voicemail. I have since changed over to voip2 server and calls seem to come in without going to voicemail. I will wa...

Yes I have no problem making or receiving calls. Nothing has changed with regards to that function. I dont know about voicemail since I dont get that many in the first place. I gather you have done a proper reboot of your hardware in the proper order by powering everything off, and then starting wit...

Re: Combo of an Obihai 100 and Freephoneline.ca question
I got the same message Hanke. Lo and behold a few days later my stutter tone and voicemail indicator cleared up. Business as usual for a couple of days. Now - however, I can't dial out - and people calling in go to voicemail. When I try dialing a number I get "the number you dialed has not rec...

Re: Combo of an Obihai 100 and Freephoneline.ca question
Mine was working fine as well. I had rec'd a msg 5th of March, via indicator, email and stutter tone. I cleared all and all was fine. On 17th of March I again got a notification of new message, but only this time with the Visual indication and stutter tone. I dialed in to listen to it, and it was the...

Re: Can't get rid of "New Voicemail" in CID
I have the same stutter tone on the line all day. This morning I got a voicemail notification that had been rec'd the 5th of March. I listened/deleted it and stutter tone remains as of this writing. I am sure this is all related to the Degraded Performance for Voicemail Services as indicated on the ...

Did you check to make sure your ATA does not have the "Do Not Disturb" enabled. Think its *78 to turn on and *79 to deactivate. Each ATA has different * (Star) codes..but pretty much the same in industry.

Did you pre pay for the data service relating to the sim card? Did you turn data on..for the data service on your phone? Yes, I prepaid for it on October 4th. That's how I ordered my sim card. If your SPA2102 died I have experienced that its in the power adapter more than anything else. I have replaced 2 adapters on Linksys devices over the years and that is what has always failed. Not sure if you want to try another power adapter but usually by the time you buy another power adapter its ...

Re: Mutiple Home phones
I would assume, Cogeco's telephone modem would be your location where the whole home is distributed. The Cogeco telephone modem will have a telephone jack in it which basically accesses all your telephone jacks currently. If that is in an accessible spot, you could just plug that jack into the new F...
