Re: Sim Card Activation
Should a data SIM card have a phone number programmed in it? The new Fongo Wireless SIM card that I just received (which is not working) indicated that the phone number is unknown when I check the SIM info. No its only a data card. There is no phone number associated to it at least mine doesn't fro...

Re: Sim Card Activation
I have had Worldline data plan since it started. I either use the Fongo Wireless - " gonet.apn " or Rogers LTE "ltemobile.apn " I find that to tether the Fongo Wireless works for me, but the Rogers LTE will not let me tether. I generally have good service for the data plan but fi...

Re: Do I need to order a new sim card for a new phone?
If the sim card size fits your new phone, yes. It does not matter what device the sim card is used in, it should work in any device, provided the device is supported by Fongo, example Android.

Re: file is damaged
Did you have a look at the file properties (of the downloaded app) that was downloaded, with your File Explorer. Right click the file where ever it was saved to on your computer. Check to see if its file properties are unblocked. If that unblock option is not there then the file is good to install, ...

You don't have Do Not Disturb activated by chance. Believe code is *78 to activate it and *79 to deactivate. Give that a try to make sure its Deactivated.

Re: Latest Fongo Mobile app does not work on iOS 9.3.5
If you have another device or a friends device, try loading it onto that IOS device and use your credentials to login with the Fongo app on that new device and see if it works. Only other option is send in a support ticket and ask. If you are able to log into your Fongo account I would suspect your ...

Re: calls or texts not sent using the FONGO app
I have the SIM card from Fongo as well, but I dont have any Credits, so whenever I try to send a SMS it says I cant. Re: calls or texts not sent using the FONGO app
You will not be billed for sending messages, but that all depends on what application you use. If you use the Fongo app you will require a Text Msg Credits package. If you use for example Google Hangouts or Facebook Messenger, no you wont be charged since it only uses data.

Re: monitoring GIG usage
Depending on your phone, usually they have a built in Data Usage setting. You can set it when to start monitoring on which day of the month and you can setup a warning at what ever level for a warning. I have the Galaxy S5 and it has that ability in its settings.
