Have my Voip service running through Linksys SPA2102
my phone indicates via the annoying red light that there is voicemail
and the dail tone is broken for a few seconds like there is voice mail...
But there is no voice mail!!!
what now?

Unplug your VOip device for 1 minute and then re-plug it in, that should do it. Sometimes modems/routers/Voip ATA's have brain storms.

I thought that Fongo had addressed all the lingering VMI issues ... is this something that has just popped up recently, Gimli, or ?? Was it working before?

As far as we still see, there sould be no issues with the MWI on an ATA device.

I am having issues clearing fax voicemail indicator. It will not stop beeping on the handset and the light on my phone continues to blink. Please help. Thanks!

If the handset still indicates there are new messages even after you have listened to all new messages, turn it off by pressing and holding [OFF] until the handset beeps.
