so this is what i,m planing to do . going overseas with linksys 2102 and wireless laptop with no access to direct connection to Internet through wires. if i captured Internet from my laptop what do i need to do to get my voip up and running??????

You need to plug in your ATA to your laptop and enable internet connection sharing on your wireless connection.
I have done this and it works.
Alternatively you could get a wireless bridge.

I know you can do it with XP, I am pretty sure it can also be done with Vista and 7, and the Mac OS. You are going to have to look at Google for help though.

In addition what was said above (XP, Vista, 7), it also works with some version of Linux.

i Google this but not much help i tried to do it my self but didn't work i think i might need a step by step on how to do Internet sharing with voip

There is no easy way to tell you how to set it up sadly. Try it with 2 computers first.

yes it work ,i wasn't using the right cable the one i,m using now is Rj-45 cat-5 crossover thanks
