Supposedly that DD-WRT has better routing algorithm. But The one I have right now the RT-N56U, is blazingly fast and work incredibly well.

DD-WRT's main advantage is that is is still actively being supported by people who's main motivation is to put out a good product, not to make a quick buck. Most router manufacturers put the stability of the firmware as an afterthought. You might get an update or 2, but after that, you better hope the bugs are not too bad, because you are stuck with them.
