When you Buy ATA does config file comes with or Pay extra$50

I presume Config file comes with ATA bought from FPL. Is it correct?
Or Do I have to pay extra $50 for config file?
Are these ATA locked to FPL like Vonage?

configs and ATAs are separate charges. Some people will buy a config to use with their ATA then decide to buy our ATA later on - that is why.
ATAs are not locked! Once you buy it you can use it with our service, our service + another on line 2 or whatever you want.

Yep, since you have to buy the config to buy the ATA, you will get the settings that you can transfer to any device. The ATA you buy from us we will also preconfigure for your account before shipping. That way it's plug and play easy!

It's the Linksys PAP2T-NA (not locked).
ATA settings are preloaded but you can also view them directly from your FPL account as well once you buy the config info with the ATA. That way if the ATA ever gets messed up, you can easily re-enter the required info yourself.

Thanks for the information. I'm new to ATA hardware, so forgive me for asking these basic questions.

You mention that the ATA is unlocked. If I buy the ATA from FPL for $79.99, and for some reason in the future I decide I don't want to use FPL anymore, can I replace the FPL SIP entries from the ATA and replace it with another VoIP provider's SIPs settings of my choosing? (providing of course, they support that specific ATA.)

But yes, they are completely unlocked and free for re-use if you choose to not use our service anymore.

Do these ATA come with warranty?
If it fails after few months what is the procedure for repair/replacement?

ATA comes with a one year manufacturer warranty so if it breaks you will on;y pay $20 standard S&H.

If it is outside of that year we will replace it at cost + shipping ($95).
